Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this camera work without a battery or power supply?

A: Yes. The following camera does not need power in order to create great images.

Q: 2. Can you develop this film in a dark room?

A: This camera uses standard 35mm film. You can use any standard color or black and white film and develop it in an appropriate dark room.

Q: 3. How long (time) is 144 movie frames?

A: The Lomography LomoKino 35mm Film Camera shoots at 3-5 frames per second. And the frame is smaller than 35mm. So 144 frames in seconds is approximately, 28 seconds to 48.

Q: 4. If the camera can only shoot 144 frames per roll, does that mean for each 6 seconds (standard 24fps) video, we have to switch a new roll?

A: The film is actually around 4-6 fps max. It's hand cranked so there's no way you get 24fps. A film roll actually gives about 30 seconds of film. Think of it more like an old silent movie type rate. I got an 8 scecond sequence from 22 frames as an example.

Q: 5. Hey BH!This camera with flash comes with the colored filters for flash?

A: Yup! Four filters. White, yellow, blue, and orange/red

Q: 6. Does it come with a piece of glass (or ANR glass) to keep the film flat? Looks like a piece of glass in the product photo.

A: Lomography DigitaLIZA 35mm Scanning Mask come with a metal plate which hold 35mm negative flat in place due to the magnets built in on the mask.

Q: 7. Can you take of the flash?

A: Yes, the flash is removeable.

Q: 8. Is the lens ajustable or is it just like that for esthetic purposes?

A: The focus is the only adjustable option on the lens included with this Konstruktor F Kit.

Q: 9. I recently bought this and the film is struggling to go around properly without tearing and the lever doesn't turn as using the camera. Please help?

A: Hey, I was there before. I don't think we need to attach the film much on the lever. I would say just a little bit. You might feel it's gonna loose at any minute. Give it a shot. Good luck!

Q: 10. Is this camera used for making movies?

A: Yes! It uses 35mm film and you can create your own movies with it.

[35mm] For what it is, it's a good value. It's easy to use, comfortable to hold and carry, and just a blast to experience. Get yourself some developing chemistry and play the back nice, too, for the full diy experience.

[Standard 35mm] This picture book is simply amazing. You're getting two books for the price of one. It also comes with a free camera in it that's pretty good too. But the book, man, you gotta get one.

[50mm] My son has recently had some return interest in working with film again which has also propelled mine. I learned of Lomography through him and when I saw this sort of low-fi Super 8 like manual film camera I thought he would love it and do something creative with it! I have in turn purchased another Lomo camera for myself. The Lomokino was received timely and well packed!
