A: This will work with any V-Mount battery. However the various cameras listed may have different power needs. Some may need a V-Mount directly mounted on to the, others specific cables. There is no V-Mount battery plate ready to work with all cameras.

A: No, the WC plate doesn't have that switch you can see in the side view that regulates the voltage for different devices. The WC plate is unregulated, but I personally have never used or needed a P-tap device that didn't work with standard v-mount battery voltage ranges. The WC plate is cheaper, but it depends if you need to regulate power or not.

A: This battery plate can be used instead of the RED battery module with the RED base expander. You can connect this battery plate directly to the body if you do not wish to have IO ports from the expander module.

A: As a former motion picture camera assistant, one of the greatest fears is the camera stopping in the middle of a take. Therefore using a P-Tap is particularly nerve racking since there is no locking mechanism to the plug. Therefore I would highly recommend a proper plate for each camera. It appears that the cameras can do their own regulation.

[V-Mount] This plate is terrific quality with a great tight lock. The two p-tap ports are great vs a normal plate with only one. Plus, irs cheaper than the Smallhd plate! I use this on my Smallhd 1303 HDR to power the monitor and two Teradek recievers at once, keeping the 2 pin LEMO on the monitor free for charging focus hand units or additional tools. 5

[2x D-Tap] The mount provides the option of attaching a range of V-Mount batteries, and two TAP ports, which I use to power an A7s and Shogun combination. Means I can keep the cables attached when changing batteries. Works fine. 5

[2x D-Tap] I bought this to power my Ronin S which then powers both camera and follow focus motor. the battery grip of the Ronin S is great, but I know it would not last long when powering the other two. So I looked for and alternative and came up with using a V-mount battery to power the gimbal and the others via Ronin S universal mount. now my handheld rig is lighter than before while being able to run for much longer. The right tool for the right job. 5

[12 to 16 VDC ] Plate actually comes with two P-tap ports. Also comes with screws for the plate, the AB one does not. No extra fuse included but you get the fuse with the AB version on the BH site. Fuse is soldered in on this plate as well. So a quick swap of that would be difficult. 5

[V-Mount] Works great with my Core XP-L90 battery to power a Sony A7S and Atomos Ninja Flame from the dual D-Tap ports. The port on top of the plate has a bit more space underneath the connector when compared to the D-Tap port on the side. This was actually extremely helpful for me since the dummy battery cable for my A7S doesn't fit in the port on the side since it's seemingly a bit thicker than normal. No other D-Tap accessories that I've tried have had this clearance problem. When attached to a Shape CP33 Cheese Plate the entire setup is rock solid. The battery release latch is also extremely satisfying. 5
