The Wooden Camera Gold Mount Battery Plate with Dual D-Tapfrom Wooden Camera Gold Mount Battery Plate with Dual D-Tapis a standard Anton Bauer Gold mount battery plate that can be attached to any item that accepts Gold mount plates, such as the Wooden Camera Battery Slide or Director's Monitor Cage. The plate features two D-Tap outputs, one on top and one on the side, and delivers unregulated 12V power via each (12-16V depending on the battery being used). Pan head screws are supplied for securing the plate.

A: As a former motion picture camera assistant, one of the greatest fears is the camera stopping in the middle of a take. Therefore using a P-Tap is particularly nerve racking since there is no locking mechanism to the plug. Therefore I would highly recommend a proper plate for each camera. It appears that the cameras can do their own regulation.

Q: 6. How I can mount this plate on a Ronin M and use it with a regular v-mount battery? Can someone recommend me mounting options how to mount this plate to a ROnon M? Any adapters available? I was looking at GyroVu V-Mount Battery Carbon Fiber Mount & D-Tap to LP-E6 Adapter Cable for Ronin M/MX, MoVI B&H # IDPV257 but I don't see this GyroVu plate from the back and don't know if there any possibility to mount it on the 25mm Ronin M tube?Thank you

A: IDX does make this plate for Wooden Camera, but it is not the same product as BH#IDPV2. IDPV2 has a single D-Tap connection, this plate has a two D-Tap connections.

[0.175 lb] Works great with my Core XP-L90 battery to power a Sony A7S and Atomos Ninja Flame from the dual D-Tap ports. The port on top of the plate has a bit more space underneath the connector when compared to the D-Tap port on the side. This was actually extremely helpful for me since the dummy battery cable for my A7S doesn't fit in the port on the side since it's seemingly a bit thicker than normal. No other D-Tap accessories that I've tried have had this clearance problem. When attached to a Shape CP33 Cheese Plate the entire setup is rock solid. The battery release latch is also extremely satisfying. 5

[0.175 lb] I had a plate finally die and decided to get this one with 2 p-taps instead of one and I'm very glad. I've usually had the plates with just one p-tap, so most of the time, I'm running a second tap and using the little splitter cube. Now most of the time I can skip the second tap. I screw this into the IDX 15mm LWS plate, and another plus is this particular battery plate doesn't require the metal adapter plate that comes with the IDX plate, so I also shaved a few ounces. My old v-mount plate was made of some more brittle plastic and had several cracks and chips in it, which is another reason I'm happy with this plate. The price is not bad either, especially when you consider the cost of a p-tap splitter...which often won't be needed since this has two p-taps. 5

[Gold Mount] Plate actually comes with two P-tap ports. Also comes with screws for the plate, the AB one does not. No extra fuse included but you get the fuse with the AB version on the BH site. Fuse is soldered in on this plate as well. So a quick swap of that would be difficult. 5

[0.175 lb] The mount provides the option of attaching a range of V-Mount batteries, and two TAP ports, which I use to power an A7s and Shogun combination. Means I can keep the cables attached when changing batteries. Works fine. 5

[2x D-Tap] It's been a while that I'm looking for an adapter plate to use my gold-mount batteries on my camera that has a v-mount plate. There's a couple options that are cheaper, but hey, buy cheap buy twice! This adapter plate is very well-made with quality components and you can be sure that there will be no electrical shorts or bugs with this one. Personally, I prefer buying this brand than a 100$ plastic adapter that won't last the long run. Very happy with this product. 5
