The Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 5 - Camera Bagfrom Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 5 - Camera Bagis a holster-style bag with closed-cell foam cushioning that is designed to fit a small to medium mirrorless camera along with an attached lens measuring up to 3.3" (8.4 cm) long. This bag offers a variety of carrying options, including a top handle, an included shoulder strap, as well as the ability to mount it onto a modular Think Tank bag, beltpack, or belt. Additionally, it can be mounted to a standard belt.

A camera placed inside the Digital Holster 5 can be easily removed using the quick-access top opening. A front stretch pocket can hold lens caps, back caps, and other small accessories. For larger accessories such as lens hoods, flashes, or filters, a zippered side pocket is provided. On the outside of the top lid is a compartment for business cards, while on the inside of the top lid is a pocket that can be used to safely store memory cards or a lens cloth. To protect a camera's rear screen while it is in the Digital Holster 5, a removable screen protector is included to provide a buffer against potential abrasion from shoulder straps that are connected to the camera and are tucked into the bag as well.

Nylon construction throughout the bag and a polyurethane-coated bottom provide a high degree of built-in weather resistance, and a seam-sealed rain cover is included for even more protection from the elements should the need arise.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be attached to a webbed belt?

A: It is designed to be used solo with the included strap or it can be attached to a Think Tank Belt or any similar type of thick sturdy belt.....however I recomend attaching the Pixel Harness to the belt for support. If used on a belt without a Pixel harness, you may find the holster...and your pants...down around your ankles !

Q: 2. Will this fit fujifilm XT4 with the 16 55mm

A: Although the Digital Holster 5 will be too shallow for your Fuji body/lens combo, the Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 10 V2.0 (Black), BH # THDH10 offers much more space.

Q: 3. Where does the weight of the camera/lens sit? For a smaller lens setup, is the entire weight of the camera carried by the grip or is there an adjustable shelf system on the lens end allowing the weight to be carried by both the grip and the end of the lens?

A: Yes there is an additional velcro pad that the lens can sit on. I have a grip on my D800 and it fits nicely in this bag.

Q: 4. Will this fit a Canon M50 + EF-M 18-150 lens?

A: The Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 5 is slightly too small to fit your Canon EOS M50 Mirrorless Digital Camera with the Canon EF-M 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens. The Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 10 V2.0 (Black), B&H # THDH10, is slightly larger and would be a better option for your planned usage needs.

Q: 5. Will this work with Sony a6500 and a 16-70 F4 mounted?

A: Yes it should fit. It works with a D5500 and 18-55 (5 inches wide by 5 inches long with the lens locked - it is tight but also fits with the lens extended and a length 6 inches).

Q: 6. Will this hold an Olympus E-M5 w/12-40 lens and hood in shooting position? It's a touch longer than the 12-50 and about 1/2 wider overall.

A: It holds my Fuji X-T1 with the Fuji 18-55 mounted, lens hood reversed but not with it in shooting position. The fit is very snug.

Q: 7. Does anyone know if the Canon 7DII + the new 100-400II lens with hood and tripod collar attached, will fit this bag, or the 50 v2.0 model?I believe the new 100-400 II lens has a larger hood, and am not sure if the Think Tank bags will still accommodate it.

A: This holster will definitely hold my 100-400 mk2 with hood extended on either my canon 5dmk 3 or my 70d. but that said, it takes a bit of careful folding to fit the strap in as well.JBruce

Q: 8. Will it fits the canon EOS 5DS R with battery grip and EF 70-200 f/2.8 IS II USM + lens hood or without hood?

A: I use my Digital Holster 50 with Nikon D800 + grip with 70-200. The case holds this with or without hood as holster can extend to accommodate lens w/hood...one of my favorite camera bags/cases.

Q: 9. Is it suitable for xt-3 + 18-55 f2.8/4, or should I consider buying the next one (holster 10)?

A: The depth of the bag is 5.3" which is about the same as that camera and lens so you will be good.

Q: 10. Hi. Will this fit Fuji Xs10 with FUJINON 16-80mm lens?

A: Unfortunately Fuji XS10 will be too big for Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 5. I recommend getting a larger case.

[Zipper] Have several of different sizes. Like that style for walk around and one lens.

[Yes] Great quality & just fits my Sony a6000 with 16-70 lens and Joby wrist strap. It would be a tight fit with a regular neck strap even with the screen protector pad removed.

[Zipper] If your goal is miniimal profile and weight but easy access this is likely THE best bag to choose for a DSLR body and a 24-70 type lens, or even a RF70-200 f2.8 now that the body is smaller. Great access, easy of use and protection. Think Tank really did a fine job on the ergonomics and overall practicality of it's design.

[Zipper] Just as expected from Think Tank - well made, good materials. Side pouch easily fits a spare NP-FZ100 battery. I also like to keep my Samsung T7 SSD in the top compartment. Great everyday bag.

[Yes] Purchased this for my EM5 with 12-50 Lens. Fits just as described by Think Tank. Fits EM5/12-50 Lens with L55B Hood Installed. Nice compact snug fit which is what I was looking for for backpacking and travel. Was concerned that my EM5 wouldn't fit with my Really Right Stuff BOEM5 Grip and Plate Combo but it does, very snug I may add but that's OK. Doesn't fit with L Landscape Component but I don't use that too much traveling....

[8.9 x 7 x 2.2"] The holster 5 is well made which has been my experience with all Think Tank products that I have purchased over the years. I bought this specifically for my Leica Q3. It fits the body/lens perfectly. However,
the nice leather strap that comes with the Q3 is a little stiff and bulky to fit in making for a too snug a fit for me. Also I have a half leather case on the camera that also adds to the tight fit. So I use a wrist strap for the camera and all is good.
