The Oval Large Viewfinder Eyecushion in gray Ultrasuede, from Bluestar, features outside dimensions of 4 x 3.2" to securely fit over many common external and built-in viewfinders. These include the viewfinders of the Sony VENICE, PDW-F800, FS-100, FS-700, F55, F5, EX3, and EX1, the Canon C700, JVC GY-100U, Panasonic VariCam 27F, VariCam 4K, DVCPRO HD, and DVX200 4K, and many more. This Ultrasuede version is made of 100% non-woven material consisting of intertwined, brushed, ultra-fine fiber strands. It provides a high level of softness and a superior moisture absorption rate, and it can be used in any climate.

Q: 3. According to the Blue Star website they say the Sony Fs7 takes the small oval and the FS700 takes the large oval. However, i own both of those camera and the eye piece is virtually identical in size. So, has anyone bought one of these for the Fs7 or FS700...if so which one did you get?

A: I have used Blue Star products and they are professional in all aspects. In absence of empirical knowledge, the manufacturer web site is the one to follow.

Q: 4. Does it fit the size of the fx9 viewfinder?

A: Yes this Bluestar Oval Small Viewfinder Eyecushion would also support the size of the Sony FX9 Viewfinder.

Q: 5. Will this fit the URSA Mini viewfinder?

A: I use it on a canon C100. Although it didn't accurately fit, i trimmed off the top rubber edge. It fits perfectly now and I've used it regularly since.

Q: 6. Will this work with the Portkeyes Leye iii?

A: No, the Bluestar Oval Large Viewfinder Eyecushion will not fit the eyepiece on the Portkeyes LEYE III.

Q: 7. Will this fit a JVC GYHD200 ?

A: We list the Oval Large Microfiber Eyecushion (Grey) as working with the JVC GY-HD100U which has the same eye cup. So yes, this should fit just fine.

Q: 8. Does this fit the DVX200? If not is there one that works?

A: Unfortunately, not well. The cup alignment is just off enough that it pulls off easily. I ordered the extra large to see if it would work, but over time the foam started to rip on the edges. Emailed the company and never heard a reply, so unless you are a surgeon and want to operate on the 200 eyecup, pass on this one.

Q: 9. Will this fit the Sony PXW-X70?

A: Although not tested, we believe it should fit.

Q: 10. Hi there. Can you still close the lid when using this eye cushion? Thank you.

A: The Bluestar Zacuto Oval Large Eyecushion (Fleece, Red) (B&H# BL4010F1) would not allow a Zacuto EVF cover to seal completely.

[0.03 lb] Took a couple of times to get it on the Zacuto Z-Finder and also on my Sony FS700 eyepiece. The trick is to fold it inside out and do the big end first. Once I did that I was able to wrap it on in a matter of a few seconds. 5

[0.03 lb] I use the 90132 Eye Cushion on my Sony PMW-EX1. I buy five at a time and use them up in maybe as many months. It's a personal item so be careful not share it with other ops who may look through your camera. When looking through the viewfinder it is a must have. It's very, very comfortable and absorbs sweat. Once you use it you'll always want one in place. 5

[0.03 lb] Bluestar makes the best eye cushions. I have a smaller one too and it works well for all different types of viewfinders. I didn't think it would make a difference, but using one really helps increase the comfort level when using the viewfinder on your camera. The price is affordable too. 5

[0.03 lb] Great little eye cushion for my Z-finder. It's a bit snug and a little bit of a pain to put on but worth it. On youtube on one of Joshua Van Horsen channel's he shows you how to do it if you are having an issue placing it on. That helped a lot 5

[0.03 lb] It stops you from smearing your eyepiece, soaks up sweat from your brow, makes the eyepiece a little more rigid for those shots when you end up using your head as a stabilizer, and color-codes the cameras! I am forever hooked on these! 5
