[2.1 oz (60 g)] This is a great mattebox for lightweight work, and I highly recommend it. It's a big plus that it has 4x5.65 and 4x4 filter support, and it clamps on to all my cine lenses with no issues. It stays in place. It's perfect for lightweight shooting, gimbals, and just to keep the overall weight of your rig down if you don't want to put on a full studio mattebox. An added plus is that because the filters stack right on top of each other (touching), they don't cause reflections (minimized by a large margin), even with my IR Cut and and ND or diffusion, and then internal NDs if you have them. No reflections will all of those in play. Pretty awesome. The only downside is the sunshade is small so it doesn't block as much stray light as a studio mattebox, but it's not supposed to. The option of a top flag is nice as well. Also, you can add a anti-reflection tilt tray but I haven't needed it yet. Overall, this is a great buy, especially if you get it on sale like I did.

[0.15 lb] Upgraded from another brand to Bright Tangerine, really love how lightweight and flexible this system is (versus what I was using). They really put a ton of thought into their designs. It's just the right amount of matte box, no too big and overbuilt, but with options to expand.. the 138mm rotating third stage is brilliant.

[2.1 oz (60 g)] I had a matte box that weighed 4.5 pounds by itself and switched to this. What a difference! This really works well in the fact that the one tray can be rotated. It is not 360 degrees but it does what it needs to do for sure. I wish I would've got the rod bracket package but I ended up getting that too and most will need that as that's the only way to mount this to rails when needed. This is a very light system but can be used with 4x4 and the 4x5.6 filters. I have the 143 to 85mm clamp-on ring also and once you figure out how to set it up and use it then it only takes a few seconds to setup afterwards.

[2.1 oz (60 g)] I really like how lightweight it is. And I also really like that it just uses a clip to hold the filters. It’s such a simple way to do but at the same time I’m not limited in using 4x4 and 5x6 in any order I want.

[0.15 lb] Super light and compact, build quality is of the highest standard. I'm glad I bought the threaded adapter rings, slips onto my 114mm lenses and then it a couple seconds can swop to a 77mm. Perfect for my kind of work, I had a fancy swing away matt box before that was heavy and lens changes were a mission.

[0.15 lb] Simple and effective way to get 15mm LWS topside support on your Red Komodo camera. Bolts into the Komodo Top Handle and features anti-twist pins to prevent twist. Easy to add and remove.

[2.1 oz (60 g)] This is my second unit. I love this matte box. All I ever need. I've had Arris, Occonnors... They need a dedicated pelican. This thing is the minimum expression of matte boxes.


Get it, if you want to reduce the weight of your camera. I use it on an Alexa, and it does indeed help. Camera can be hefty all by itself, can get crazy with add ons.
