[10.5 lb] I wanted a compact music stand that I could bring with me to events. This one is just 16 long when folded, and it weighs 2.5 lb. It's sturdy enough to hold a 1.75 lb. looseleaf book that I ofter use.

[10.5 lb] Manhasset are the standard by which other stand are measured. Really like having the extra space for multiple pages, though of course it takes up more space ;-)

[10.5 lb] We use the stand as podium at many events. It comes apart easily, and the carry bag makes it so easy to keep it all together.

[10.5 lb] I am no longer a musician, not having picked up my instrument in almost 40 years. I’m a writer, and I write from my recliner. I always have materials I need to refer to, and it was tiresome to keep picking up papers to refer to, or trying to use the lap dog to prop papers on. I got the idea that having a music stand next to my recliner might be ideal, and it has been wonderful. The Hamilton stand is perfect for me...it’s not flimsy enough to be knocked over, it’s sturdy and solid with a solid tray instead of the accordion-style. I can affix my papers to it with magnets if needed, and it’s strong enough to hold my laptop when I’m not writing. In short, it’s perfect for me!

[10.5 lb] I found this music stand that raises and lowers, its wide for multiple sheets of music or for an open notebook. The price was competitive.
It was super easy to put together. I just love it!!

[10.5 lb] Maybe I failed to read the dimensions on the website, but I was really surprised how big the stand is! I was looking to replace my too-wimpy, lightweight collapsible stand (with carrying case) with something more solid, that could carry a 2-inch notebook full of charts in plastic sleeves. Well, this is definitely capable of that! The desktop measures around 20 x 15, with about a 3-in lip. The carrying case is about 25 in wide, and maybe about 18 tall. More thought could have gone into the case design; it's a little awkward, but do-able. (3 stars?) Now, with all that out of the way: It is a great stand! Solid AF, with a really sensible, sturdy, and simple set-up for tilting and raising the desk. I love it. It will hold a heavy notebook if needed, and I have no worries about it tipping. I won't be surprised if it lasts many years of constant use at home, rehearsals, and gigs. So, the stand gets 5 stars. If the size works for you, and you are ok with a bag that is mediocre in design, then I highly recommend it!

[10.5 lb] I had one of these for years and somehow lost it. I still had my case from the other one like this and so glad to find another at a good price. This is a very sturdy compact stand. I've ordered others but they just aren't comparable. Just make sure you follow the directions to disassemble and you'll be fine. Don't hesitate to purchase this stand. It will hold a good size notebook.
