Classic 35mm film rangefinder features a large, bright 0.72x-magnification viewfinder.

Completely mechanical operation requires no battery and permits working with just the basic aspects of photography: shutter speed, aperture, and film speed.

A rear ISO dial can be used to indicate the speed of film in use.

The top shutter speed dial permits selection of speeds from 1/1000 sec. to 1 sec., with a bulb setting also available for long exposures. Flash sync is available at all speeds up to 1/50 sec.

The hot shoe incorporates a center contact for compatibility with a wide array of flashes.

Compatible with all M-mount lenses ranging in focal lengths from 16mm to 135mm.

Image field frame lines are automatically activated with each mounted lens, and offer an accurate, parallax-corrected reference for image composition. Alternatively, image field lines can be selected to pre-visualize the composition of other focal length lenses.

A: The Leica MP 0.72 Analog Rangefinder Camera Body is a film camera that uses 35mm film. To upload images to Instagram, you would first have to have the film developed, then scan the negatives to be placed on a CD-ROM. You may then use the digitized images on the CD to upload to your computer. You may then either use your computer to upload images to Instagram, or you may transfer the images from your computer to your smartphone/tablet to upload to Instagram.

A: No. The MP .72 does not have Bluetooth or WiFi capabilities. We do have other M models that have WiFi capabilities but not Bluetooth which can be utilized to connect your smart device to the camera. Those would be the new M10 and M10-P. These models can be connected to your smartphone/tablet for using a multiple of options with our newly designed Leica FOTOS app which will be available on 10.24.18. [Standard 35mm] Leica MP is simply the best, there is no way around it. However, buying my first Leica with BHphoto is probably the best decision I’ve had. I had experience with Adorama but BHphoto customer service is far superior. No return return fees (Adorama does make you pay return fees), exchange/return convenience, and fast shipping. If you decide between the two, BHphoto would be the best option as it gives you a peace of mind knowing that they will take care their customer. I had an issue with the first order and had to exchanged it. I called them and explained the situation and they exchanged it with no questions asked. Simply the best customer service by far. It reminds me of REI customer service (if you live in PNW you’ll know what I’m talking about). They have a customer for life. Thank you, BHphoto! 5

[Manual] Very similar with M6 and you can still buy BRAND NEW. If you are thinking about MA get this and just take the battery out. 5

[Bulb Mode] I enjoy using all kinds of cameras for various types of photography, including Nikon SLRs I can praise endlessly. That being said, this is the pinnacle of simplicity and function. With this you just make pictures with ease and accuracy and mechanical perfection. You will want nothing more and get nothing less than what you need. A huge selection of lenses from leica to Voigtlander will give you anything you want at any price point but with the solid foundation of a camera body that just works. There is nothing like a brand new MP. 5

[Manual] When it comes to rangefinders, this is the goat. It will outlast you. There is nothing quite like it. I don't even want to look at the re-issue M6. The value of the MP will appreciate as evident by its steadily increased pricing over the years. When you pass this camera to your grandchildren, they will appreciate the value. Need I say more? 5
