Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is additional screw needed to mount to film CB-32?

A: In my FLM ball head, I turned the round plate and replaced it with the SRB-60 Quick Release Clamp using the screw that was attached to the FLM ball head. I only strengthened with the thread glue the connection of the screw with the ball head and screws with the SRB plate

Q: 2. How do you remove the safety pin?

A: Hi, the safety pin is not removable--it is spring-loaded and will retract into the body of the clamp if not in use.

Q: 3. Would this system be good for editing video with 4 - 4k edit stations attached ?

A: Yes, this unit is purpose built for high speed workgroup access, but requires the correct infrastructure to do so.

Q: 4. does this come with the screws?

A: Yes, the Middle Atlantic RK10 Rack does come with the screws that are required to assemble the rack.

Q: 5. Will this just screw right on my FLM CB24?

A: No. the thread on your CG24 is 1/4"/20. The thread on the SRB40 is 3/8"/16 . But you can make it fit easily by using an adapter bushing. A good one would be B&H # WIBS100.

Q: 6. Will this fit on the Arca-Swiss Monoball P0? I know the 60mm diameter is a perfect fit, but I'm worried about the knob on the clamp clearing the lever on at the top of the P0. I know Sunwayfoto makes a clamp specifically designed for the A-S P0 that has an extra-long clamp knob so that it extends beyond the possible obstruction of the P0's top lever ... do I need something like that, or will this FLM SRB-60 be fine?

A: We see no issue if you use this with the Arca-Swiss Monoball P0 with Panning System B&H # ARMPOPS. In fact, we are of the opinion that this clamp will work better than OEM or other 3rd party clamps.

Q: 7. will this work with Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini Rack Shelf ?

A: Yes, they are both standard 19" racks.

Q: 8. Can I use it with Ronin RS3 Pro and Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro?

A: The DJI RS3 Pro as well as the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 6K Pro are both supported by the Middle Things APC-R Controller. However balancing a Blackmagic Studio 6K Pro camera on a RS3 Pro is not recommended, nor does DJI offically support it. We would suggest using a Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro instead for maximum compatibility. https://www.middlethings.co/apcr-support/

Q: 9. What is the gap distance of clamp at closed/opened position? I have 38mm wide arca-style base on 2 cameras. I want to know whether I can drop in camera, or I have to slide in from the side. Thank you.

A: It opens from 33mm to 38mm, you'll have to slide in your plate from the side.

Q: 10. Is the finish a black oak grain like the Raxxes racks?

A: It's a flat black paint. No grain is visible
