Q: 5. Does this stand have to be used with a 22 reflector or can it be used with a larger reflector as well? If so, how large of a reflector can it hold? Thank you!

A: This can be used to attach much larger reflectors, but you may run into issues with balance. If using something closer to a 48 reflector or screen, you may want to consider a 3-5lb counterweight.

Q: 6. I want to know the depth of this Softbox, and does it work with godox vl150?

A: The depth is 14 3/4". This softbox will work with any light that has Bowens mount.

Q: 7. I cannot loosen the mid point so that the boom arm comes out. What is the trick to doing this?

A: Loosen the joints on the bar by turning the screws, they'll lessen they're grip on the bar so you can slid it off the legs

Q: 8. How would I use 3/8"-16 sockets on side oh handles. It says for tripod mounting but do I need some special adapter to use this?

A: You do not need a special adapter as long as you have a 3/8 connection on your tripod or stand. The 8’ stand included in this kit has a 1/4” -20 stud so if you would want to mount the reflector directly on this stand you would need an adapter such as the Impact CA-109.

Q: 9. Is the counterweight included?

A: The counterweight is included.

Q: 10. What is the load capacity?

A: Ikan does not specify the rating. They only list it as 2mm.

[50 lb (22.6 kg)] This cable was thicker/stronger than I expected, so I have no doubt it will safely hold my equipment. My only suggestion is that it should have a carabiner at both ends (which would add an inch or two to its reach and make it easier to attach it to various things). 5
