The AtlasIED Wireless Infrared Microphone TransmitterbyAtlasIED Wireless Infrared Microphone Transmitteris for capturing audio in sound reinforcement. It is designed for use in higher education facilities, or where a room constrained public address systems is required. When used in conjunction with the AL-2430 amplifier/receiver (sold separately), it allows the teacher and students to walk freely around the room with the infrared microphones/system control units, and project their voices through installed speakers.

The AL-MAGPIE microphone performs the functions of a wireless microphone and a system remote control. Each wireless microphone has a volume control for adjusting the volume of that microphone relative to the user's voice allowing it to be adjusted up or down so that the speaker can be clearly heard and understood. Each AL-MAGPIE can be set to either A or B. One AL-MAGPIE must be set to Channel A and the other AL-MAGPIE must be set to Channel B. The MAGPIE includes Mode, Volume, and Panic controls that are fully functional in teacher mode, but will be locked out when configured for student mode. A rechargeable battery is included.

A: Depending on the Apple TV remote you have, it will work with the MacBook Air. This will not control your MacBook. You can use the standard Apple remote BH #APMM4T2AMA.

Q: 2. We purchased this microphone and now need batteries. Must we use the Azden rechargeable batteries or will any NIMH rechargeable battery work?

A: Only the Azden batteries (1HR-3U) will charge while inside the IRH-15C. Using another brand of rechargeable batteries will work but will have to be charged outside of the unit. Alternatively, any brand of one-time-use alkaline batteries may be used.

Q: 3. What is the measurement of the tubing thread going in to the base? will it fit the Atlas Sound MS20B replacement base?

A: 5/8-27

Q: 4. Are you able to change the frequency on this wireless microphone system?

A: No the frequency is fixed at Band 7: 500.1 - 530.5MHz.

Q: 5. Does this work with the original DJI Osmo Pocket?

A: This is defined as having compatibility only with the Pocket 2.

Q: 6. Does it have internal recording like the DJI Mic? Can I clip it in and use it as a recorder without connecting it to Osmo Pocket

A: Unfortunately no. The DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) will not have internal memory for recording and will require the Osmo pocket 2.

Q: 7. can we use this as the second transmitter for the Osmo Pocket 3 (in addition to the transmitter that came with the Combo pack)?

A: No, the DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) is not compatible with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. For the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, you will need the DJI Mic 2 Transmitter.

Q: 8. The picture for the Atlas MS-12CE is the same as the picture for the Atlas MS-10CE stand. Can you please post the correct picture for the Atlas MS-12CE stand?

A: The stand I have has the flatter base, rather than the rounded base. It seems more stable to me than the rounded version.

Q: 9. Will the base on this stand accept the Atlas wheels (three casters on arms)?

A: Looks like it should. Try contacting Atlas direct. Maybe they can help you be certain of compatibility. Sorry couldn't be more help.

Q: 10. Is it compatible with DJI Osmo Action Camera?

A: The DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) is not compatible with the DJI OSMO Action Camera.

[6] Needed a mike stand that could handle a four foot boom with a studio mike at the end and survive being around 4-11 year old youth. The stand is heavy enough that the junior crowd doesn't mess with it and things stay aligned during recording sessions/performances. 5

[0.48 lb] This little stand has a substantial base, and is stable enough to hold a small powered speaker for use a wedge monitor. The large base prevents most things I have placed on it from being Top Heavy. Good little stand. 5

[6] This is the shorter version of the full-size mic stands Atlas has been selling for decades. The base is amply sized and the clutch is heavy duty. I use it as a table-top stand for heavier mics. Matches nicely with the Pb21xeb boom, but you can attach a side-address condenser right on top. 5

[0.48 lb] I love this product. It makes cable management a snap, because it allows the cable to run inside the mic stand and exit just three inches below the extended top or end. i would heartily recommend this product to anyone looking to permanently install wiring in a mic stand. 5

[6] I needed a heavy stand to hold my Roland sample drum pad. Most stands are made for drummers sitting down. This Atlas is heavy to carry around but it would take a whole lot to knock it over. So, for me it is exactly the right answer. And they are smooth working, beautiful sands. Can't really beat Atlas when it comes to mic stands. But be ready to carry a heavy stand. 5
