A: The DLC 47 Camera Slider is compatible with Flat Base Tripod Heads that have a 3/8 thread. The Magnus VPH-20 is a nice option for an inexpensive and simple head that can still hold a camera load up to 11 pounds, B&H #MAVPH20. Or you could look at more advanced options like the Benro S7 or Manfrotto MVH500AH, B&H numbers BEVHS7 and MAMVH500AH.

A: No, the Godox AK-R21 Projection Attachment for Flash Heads is not compatible for use with a Bowens mount adapter.

Q: 10. How do I access the battery compartment?

A: The battery is located on the under side of the RMR. Remove the RMR from the mount by removing the two flathead screws that secure the RMR to the mount with the supplied allen wrench. Once the sight is removed, carefully insert the allen wrench into the pry notch to lift the battery out of the battery compartment.

The benefits outweigh the negatives. It must be calibrated every time with what ever lens you are using. This is simple enough to do, and unless you do it there is no guarantee you will be aiming your lens in the right direction. Also: if you where a brimmed hat, it is likely it'll get bumped by the brim when you use your view-finder. I was able to overcome this by mounting the dot-sight on a SmallRig Half Camera Cage with a Tilta Cold Shoe Receiver Adapter with Locking Pin in the cage's forward mounting position. 5

This dot sight is great for BIF (Birds In Flight), allowing you to track the bird thru the dot sight using your peripheral vision while keeping your telephoto lens completely zoomed in. It works on ANY brand of camera and only requires a cold shoe. It does need to be calibrated every time you use it, but the results are well worth the time. 5

I have used a DIY dolly and wasnt able to get smoother movements, this is a nice slider and can even work as a liitle jib... Affordable and durable... 5

I like to photograph birds in flight with telephoto lenses. I use the Canon RF 100-500mm w RF 1.4X Extender and a Canon RF 600mm F4 with either the RF 1.4X or 2X extenders. Due to the narrow angle of view with telephoto lenses, it is difficult to locate birds in flight. The Olympus Dot Sight mounts to the camera hot shoe and after distance calibration; makes tracking birds easy. With the 600mm F4 you will have to put a hot shoe extender on first to elevate the sight above the lens profile. This is highly invaluable for either birds or other fact moving subjects when tracking with a telephoto lens. 5
