Q: 1. Does this fit the Vortex 10x50 Diamondback HD Binoculars?

A: The Vortex Binocular Harness Strap BH #VOHS • MFR #VTHARNESS will fit the Vortex 10x50 Diamondback HD Binoculars BH #VO10X50DHDB • MFR #DB-216

Q: 2. does black rapid make left hand versions of their straps?

A: Yes. The Sport Left Breathe is specific to the left-handed camera shooter. The Delta, Metro, RS-4 Cross Shot, and Street can be worn on either shoulder, as these do not have a Brad underarm stabilizer.

Q: 3. Will this harness attach directly to a pair of Vortex Viper HD 8x42 binocs without the use of zip ties? Some of the recent reviews state a problem when trying to use this harness with Vortex Diamondback binocs. I wouldn't trust plastic zip ties while using my Viper binocs.

A: Hi GeorgeThe issue isn't the harness--it weak point is the attachment point on the binocs. I have a Crooked Horn strap on my 8x32 Leica. Other than the logo, that strap appears to be identical to the Vortex. However it is attached with a small nylon strap with two metal eyes and a metal ring large enough for the clips on the strap. The Leica attachment point is wide enough for the small connecting strap but the Viper isn't. I tried using metal rings to fit the Viper attachment points and the strap clips but I could tell that it was a misfit that was torquing the attachment points. That's why I contacted Vortex about it. My nylon line arrangement for the Viper works essentially the same as the Leica/Crooked Horn one. My Viper is 8x28, not an 8x32, but the attachment point appears to be the same as your 8x32.

Q: 4. I just ordered this strap and I'm worried about the FR-5 FastenR Breathe that comes with it. Is it really made from stainless? cus it seems like plastic material. thanks

A: Definitely not plastic. Not the one I bought. Best strap I ever owned.

Q: 5. Does this come with the Lockstar? On the Black Rapid site it indicates it comes with the strap but I see no mention of it in the description here at B&H.

A: Yes, mine did

Q: 6. What is the advantages of having this over a normal neck strap?

A: The Harness keeps the binoculars close to your body so they are not swinging around and getting in the way.

Q: 7. Is there an attaching mechanism that can be used with a RRS ballhead QR plate for easy transfer to the tripod?

A: There is the BR Tripod Plate 50 which is Arca-compatible and it comes with the FastenR, which is a screw that holds the plate to your camera; the screw is fitted with a ring that you use instead of the fastener that comes with the strap. It is made to hold the weight of the camera, and folds into a recess after you unclip the caribiner. Then the camera will fit into the ballhead clamp. After you're done with the tripod just clip the carabiner back into the ring and away you go.

Q: 8. do you think thí strap can go with nikon z6 and 24-70 f4 s?

A: Yes, as the Street Breathe was designed for mirrorless cameras. If you are not completely satisfied, you may exchange or return it within the 30 day warranty period. You may also be interested in the Cross Shot Breathe and Curve Breathe strap for mirrorless cameras. (The Curve Breathe has a padded shoulder pad).

Q: 9. I'm looking for a camera strap that I could wear while wearing a backpack. Would this work?

A: Yes, the Cross Shot Breathe can be worn while wearing a backpack. We would recommend checking out our BackPack Breathe strap, as it can attach directly to the rings on the pack.

Q: 10. How long is the rubber shoulder pad? Thank you

A: Christian, the strap is 10 and 3/4 inches long. Very adequate. Hardware is very high quality. I love the strap. Michael

[0.3 lb] This strap, as it's name suggested, is designed for binocular. However, I ordered it for my Fujifilm X-H2s with a standard zoom. My purpose of it is to be used as my walk-around/travel setup.
PROS:
(1) There is no metal anywhere in the strap. So no worry about if my gears will be scratched.
(2) Light weight.
(3) Right size. It's no a narrow strap that would concentrate the pressure on my neck. It's not unnecessarily too thick as it's designed for light weight item - binocular. The length is just right that with it's max extension, the bottom of my camera is at my belly button.
CONS:
None so far
UNKNOWN:
(1) Durability. As mentioned, this strap is designed for binocular, and I repurposed it for my mirrorless camera. The specs doesn't mention about the weight capacity. I'm taking a chance.
(2) The strap's instruction mentions that it could be attached to other BlackRapid's product. Since I don't have any, I have no comment. HOWEVER, I do have a camera backpack having D-rings at the shoulder straps. I might try it.
(For the unknowns, I'll leave further comment here if my usage has any problem. If I didn't report anything here, that means my setup is working properly.)
Hope this helps. Enjoy!

[4.4 x 3.6 x 3"] My first reaction to this strap was that it is very short, but in use it holds the binoculars in a position where they are easily accessible. The strap has a little elasticity so it sits gently on your neck. Straps are one thing that binocular manufacturers cut corners on, as a result they are barely serviceable and usually quite uncomfortable. This strap is a good choice to replace the original strap, it is very comfortable and keeps your binoculars ready to use.

[4.4 x 3.6 x 3"] This strap is a big improvement over the narrow ones that come on most binoculars. The length is perfect for actively using binoculars for such things as birding where you are constantly raising and lowering them. The wider strap makes wearing heavier binoculars much more comfortable hanging from your neck. And the quality is what we have come to expect from BlackRapid. I got it on sale but its more than worth the full price.
