[2.2 lb] I bought the ikelite house obviously to take underwater shots for the beach. nothing to complain about here. Just make sure you slap in a full battery so you don't have to stop and swap it mid swim. It has a slightly positive boyency, not crazy you probably won't notice it. All the controls are accessible tho it might be hard to see the monitor under intense sunlight at the beach.

[Yes] This is my first experience with an underwater camera. I am glad I chose SeaLife. Oh I got the camera in the mail the morning that I left for about an hour and played around with the various controls while I was on the airplane.

This camera is incredibly user-friendly and takes terrific pictures. Most of my diving on this trip was between 30 and 60 feet. Using the "Dive" mode, the automatic filtering system for correct in the colors worked remarkably well. In fact, when I used an external light in dive mode, the pictures were not as good. (There is a separate mode for "external light.") I highly recommend this camera, especially if you are a novice like me.

[NTSC] This product is a new toy for me. I have a few cameras but nothing like this. I found it much more easy to handle with a mini mondo stick while only useing the wrist lanyard. Useing the zoom feature, movie and photo buttons were easy but to read info on the screen , with goggles on, was impossible, so it was a case of set and forget. The camera took good photos and movies but I would only use it in this houseing for underwater use. The down side is the houseing needs “sights” to lineup subjects, and the filming light needs to be brighter or bigger or maybe a different colour so it is easier to see .I got about an hour of use from the battery which is OK seeing the camera is continually on and working the zoom. All up, it is a very good unit snorkeling and shallow diving. With more practice this unit will shine in a new world.

[2.7" / 6.9 cm] I have used this when it rains. I am going to shoot with this in the water when I travel to the Dominican Republic! But I've used it for Land photos and the quality is fantastic. I'm too embarrassed about my shots to show the land photos.

[2.7" / 6.9 cm] If you are looking for an easy to use and no maintenance underwater point and shoot camera, this is the one. It's solid like a rock but feel comfortable in hand. It's fixed focus so no more struggles for focusing the right target. The snorkeling white balance preset generated quite accurate colors. And the picture quality is very good. It's easy to mount on a monopod to extend the reach for video. All in all it's an excellent travel underwater camera that can generate good results yet adding minimal load to your luggage. The attached photos are frame grab from the HD videos (about 2MB resolution). It's far from the normal single shot picture quality so this is for reference only.
