A: The softbox is designed to be used with the TruColor Cineo HS Medium. It comes with a speedring/bracket that attaches to the light and the softbox.

A: It does fit ok. You have to get the straps over the light to hold and it does take a little positioning to get it to fit. I ended up making my own diffusion panel out of silent grid cloth cut to fit and attaching it with velcro. I use these for interviews a lot. Usually one panel through a 42 flex silk and the other with the Chimera armed out as a backlight.

Q: 3. does this come with an eggcrate or LCD?

A: The, Chimera Vortex8 Medium Lightbank w/ Frame is a softbox only. It comes with a frame so it attaches to the Vortex8 led panel light. The softbox comes with an inner baffle and a front diffuser. It does not come with an eggcrate.

A: The softbox when collapsed and not put together is about 23 x 14 x 4.2 inches.

A: Unfortunately, this softbox would not be compatible with a Kino Flo Celeb as there are no speed rings available for it.

A: The center mount of an Arri Skypanel S120 can support the weight of this Chimera softbox.

[Yes, Removable] Know that the Rotolight barn doors are necessary to use this. It is not at first obvious that the barn door wings slip into almost invisible pockets that are built into the Chimera. A simple installation note would have been a time-saver. Pleasing quality of light. It would be nice if the Rotolight carry-pouch was big enough to include the barn doors and Chimera folded up. 5

[Silver] Five stars because it's a Chimera and it does what it's supposed to do. It also comes with three different diffusion covers so you have some options. But unlike the classic Chimera that has a frame, hooks into a speed ring, and can go on any light that accepts rings or scrims, this seems like it will only work on the Ikan 576s. There's no frame; it slides over the barn doors of the fixture and uses the built-in gel clips to secure itself in front of the LED bulbs. So if you have a different budget LED light of a similar size and you want this to work it will take some gaff taping. Maybe Chimera has a model for everything. I don't know; I haven't looked. 5
