This 6V version of the RF-Links MX-1700D/6 6V A/V Transmitterfrom RF-Links MX-1700D/6 6V A/V Transmitteris a 1.7GHz audio and video transmitter designed for military applications in extremely low or high temperatures. It features 8 on board selectable channels and offers 500mW of RF power allowing a 3 mile range over the air. Up to 8 systems can be used in the same area simultaneously.

A: The LUV-250 video and audio transmitter uses the 2.4GHZ channel which is an open radio channel commonly used for many wireless devices. There is no need to have a special permit to make use of this channel in the US.

A: Due to the lack of a center pin in the hot shoe of certain Canon cameras (e.g. 4000D, T100, SL3, and T7, among others), the Pluto RF Transmitter & Receiver for Canon Cameras (B&H# PLRFTRCAN) will not receive the sync signal from the camera to trigger a flash on (in the hot shoe of the transmitter) or off (in the hot shoe of the receiver) of the camera. If an economy-priced option is desired then we recommend the Godox X2 2.4 GHz TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Canon (B&H# GOX2TC) for mounting in the hot shoe of any of the aforementioned cameras or any other Canon camera with a pre-2022 hot shoe, or even in those of the most modern version of the Canon hot shoe on a camera such as the Canon EOS R50 with the Canon AD-E1 Multi-Function Shoe Adapter (B&H# CAOCSAADE1). [6 V DC] This remote works great. Controls focus an will trigger both the flash an the camera. Or just the camera. You do need the cable to connect it to the camera. They don’t tell you that. 5

[N/A] The Exell A32PX 6 volt alkaline battery is a direct fit replacement for the old mercury battery used in the Yashica Electro35 rangefinder 35mm camera. This batteries resuscitated the camera! The voltage is a bit higher than with the mercury, so you may need to tweak your exposure for critical work. With the Electro35 this is easily accomplished by changing the ISO (ASA) on the original Electro35. Frankly, shooting regular negative film didn’t require any change. 5
