A: There is a little catch when the shelf is pushed all the way in, offering some resistance. One would have to tug at it with just a bit of force to get it to come out. Officially however, there is no lock.

[21 x 7.1 x 3.4"] Heavier than I expected. Solid, non-flexing rack shelf that seems capable of supporting more than the pair of half rack size units I've placed in it. Not a concern for me, but if there is a downside for anyone, it might be the base lacking holes to secure device(s) although I imagine one could drill the requisite holes if necessary. 5

[Steel] what can you say about a rack? It fits in the rack and it holds what it is on it. Do not know what else I can say other than it does seem sturdy and it is working for me. 5

[Steel] I’ve purchased several of these units. They work great on the very top of racks around the studio for non-rack equipment, such as monitor holders, mic cases, and even small speakers platforms. Plus they’re shipped well with styrofoam protection around the rack ears which helps protect them from shipping damage. Plus they’re always shipped in double boxes, which I really appreciate. As I said, a no worry order. 5

[1U] These are simple but great brackets. We use these to hang headset amplifiers (mainly the Behringer HA8000) on the wall. This bracket is nice and sturdy - it doesn't bend or flex. The square holes for mounting equipment allow you to use non-standard rack stuff also! Includes screws and nuts for mounting equipment and also screws for wall mounting, but we use drywall anchors to mount it to our walls. 5

[1U] Sturdy Wallmount rack that doesn't wobble. The adjustable depth is great so there's room for power cords. It even has hinges to swing out patch panels for easy wiring. I've used dozens of these, and haven't found anything else that even comes close. 5
