A: I equiped my Tessar with a normal (Hoya) UV filter without noticing any vignetting!

A: This is a wonderful lens. I cannot speak to 4x4 box question. I use this lens on A7 and there is slight vignetting at 16mm.

A: 24 to 52 mm

Q: 6. Will this lens work for a A6000 e-mount camera?

A: Yes, the lens is compatible but because the A6000 utilizes a smaller optical circle than the lens was designed to accommodate you are paying for more lens that you can utilize with an APS-C sensor size camera. So yes, it will work but if you plan to stick with the A6000 as opposed to a full-frame sensor camera like the A7sII, you are paying for more lens than you need. If you plan to eventually upgrade your camera then this lens is a good investment. I have the same lens and find it very sharp, and functional for general landscape shots.

Q: 7. Will this have any issues on the A7R IV?

A: Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens is fully compatible with the Sony A7rIV. There are no issues.

Q: 8. I have a 72 mm circular polarizing filter and it won't screw onto this lens. It actually seems to be much too small. I thought this lens takes 72mm filters. What is going on?

A: The lens is 72mm and all my 72mm filters fit it including Polarizers. Your Polarizer must be marked incorrectly.

Q: 9. Does this work for the FS5?

A: I use this lens, which is a nice sharp lens, with my Full frame a7||. I'm sorry I can't answer this question for the FS5.

Q: 10. How equal is or not is the Sony 16 to 35mm F4 versus the Sony 16 to 35mm F2.8 (such as wide open versus stepped down comparison on each)? thank you

A: I've not compared the two. I'm very satisfied with the F2.8

[0.19x] Awesome lens for stills and video... Recently used on a Crane 1 gimbal and produced great results... Would buy again! Check out S.Marlo - Ain’t Got Forever, video we made this week using this lens. The DIY video was last minute and unplanned for promotional purposes and took only 8 hours total to make, with just me and my wife. 5

[Sony E] Got this as a gift. I personally don't like wide angle lenses because they have frequent problems with the picture and performance. However, this lens solves all of that. I currently owned other wide angle lenses(not from Sony) but this lens is the best one I'd had so far. The only flaw that I don't personally like; the focusing wheel and zoom wheel are a bit stiff and hard to use at first. But you get used to it after a while. 5

[f/4] Using my new a7 R iii this lens is super sharp. I needed to go to maximum magnification in photoshop to remove some debris from a model's skin in an outdoor shoot at a waterfall. I was amazed at how the image held focus up to point of pixelization. The image stays sharp to the edges. 5
