The LH2K-M is Norman's Standard Modeling Light Head for use with the 200C and older 200B Battery Power Supplies. It features a 50W, 12V quartz modeling lamp. A new modeling lamp circuit has been incorporated which replaced the timer control knob on previous lampheads. Now a push button "MDL" activates the modeling lamp from the lamphead. It will turn off automatically after 20 seconds or after each flash, whichever comes first.

A: Hi. I have Norman 200B and 200C packs. Both take Super batteries and I charge both with Delta V chargers, but using different cables. So I would say yes in answer to your question.

A: The older Bogen strobes used the Bowens S-mount for connecting lighting modifiers to the light fixture. I would recommend the Impact Speed Ring for Impact, Bowens S, Westcott & Aputure, B&H # IMSRIMPV2, for your usage needs.

Q: 3. I did buy an used Norman flash. it did come with the super batteries.the charger is the model delta V charger (Norman c55x2)I read on B&H that the super batteries are not compatible with the old Norman's grey Thermometric charger are they compatible with my model? my model is black, but it is not the newest model.regards, Felix

A: There are no egg crates designed specifically for use with the Norman 60 Octagonal Softbox. It is possible that the Impact Fabric Grid for Medium Octagonal Luxbanx (60 ), B&H # IMLBGOM, or the FotodioX Pro Eggcrate Grid (60 ), B&H # FOEGG60OCTEZ, may work for your usage needs. However, as the Norman 60 Octagonal Softbox is a special order item, we have no way to test the above. However, if you wish to purchase either of the egg crates, they are both returnable if they do not work for your usage needs. You would have 30 days from the purchase date to return the item for an exchange or refund if it does not work for your usage needs.

[1x Reflector] I would buy this softbox again. Setup is very fast with the umbrella frame that is attached. You only need to tighten a thumb screw. The light is nice and soft and wraps around the subject. I have 2 other Norman softboxes and this has taken over as the main portrait light source. 5

[Yes] I've been using 400B's and a 200B for over thirty years. They've taken a tremendous amount of abuse (falling over, breaking flash tubes, etc.) and keep on flashing. I once tried an off brand battery but the recycle time seemed slower. This Norman battery is the best way to go. 5

[1x Reflector] Pops open like an umbrella which is great for quick setup and tear down. I keep the diffusion material velcro-ed on all the time and un-velcro just enough to set up/collapse. Very large source, soft wrap around subjects. 5
