[1 lb / 453.6 g] It is what it says it is. Note that the chemical is shipped in both fine crystalline and ingot form in the same container. You will need a mortar & pestle to grind this into an easily soluble and measurable quantity.

[1.08 lb] The crystals are quite variable in size, but if you have a mortal and pestle you can grind them for more accurate weighing. I'm using KBr as a restrainer in caffenol (instant coffee, ascorbic acid, and washing soda) with excellent results.
