[3.5 lb (1.6 kg)] The Axton AT-25S flood illuminator is exactly what I needed. My cameras with built in IR illuminators would attract insects to the cameras themselves which triggered motion events and alerts at night constantly. Rain also would trigger events on some cameras due to IR reflection off of rain droplets. I mounted the Axton illuminator between and above the cameras so insects would be attracted away from the cameras. The 150 degree pattern is great. I am ordering a second one to flood the other side of the house now.

[3.5 lb (1.6 kg)] I purchased a few inexpensive illuminators to experiment with and am now replacing them as they burn out. They seem solidly made and provide a lot more light. They also offer a lifetime warranty. There are no intensity or beam pattern adjustments that I can see other than pointing. So its point and shoot.

[32 W] This really lights up the target area. It was well worth the purchase price. Just realize that it's a large, heavy light.

The mount is cheaply made. I don't know who they have making it, but it doesn't have the ATN quality that I expected. I had to re-tap the screw holes just to get it mounted. The adjustments are a little awkward and with heavy recoil it tends to move.

[3.5 lb (1.6 kg)] Added this for my License Plate Camera and it is better than expected with a focused high intensity IR light that reflects off of plates making all plates at night easily readable. See attached photos and note emitters are red and visible just hard to photograph.

Also have 2 other Axton IR emitters for the front yard that replaced some cheap IR emitters. The difference in coverage, distance and even spread is night and day.

[3.5 lb (1.6 kg)] Bought 2 after other cheaper illuminators were low-light. THey run off a 12 V 7AH battery and the beam means they illuminate objects within 50 ft or more!

[3.5 lb (1.6 kg)] After I bought the first one and seeing how good it was, I ordered 3 more. They are that good for license plate reading. I have to say that I am now in the 99 percentile in reading license plates. I am going to post a picture of a golf cart with a standard California plate. The measured distance is 187 feet. The camera I am using is a Dahua 5442E-Z4E at full extension. I do not recommend using this camera at over 75 feet for license plate gathering.

I used NVGs and other night vision devices when I was in the U.S. Army. The Axton products are military grade and built like a tank with a lifetime warranty to boot.

Plus, they provide world-class customer service. I'm very pleased with my purchase and it is worth every penny.
