Iluminar IR Illuminator 50' Rangeis a well-suited source of illumination for surveillance cameras. The light reflected by the illuminator is invisible to the human eye, but perceptible to true day/night security cameras for a covert, non-obtrusive form of illumination in darkness and low-light conditions. Furthermore, this illuminator has a 15 to 120*° positioning angle range, built-in photocell IR On/Off function, operates and is IP66 dust- and water-resistant for outdoor or indoor video monitoring applications. Lastly, please note that a power supply is not included with this illuminator. An Altronix 12 VDC or 24 VAC input is recommended for optimal performance.

A: Hello Bo. The Low voltage IR919-2 series unit has 6 wires. The black and red wire are for power. [50' (15 m)] Bought 2 after other cheaper illuminators were low-light. THey run off a 12 V 7AH battery and the beam means they illuminate objects within 50 ft or more! 5

[50' (15 m)] I've had a few of these scattered about the property for a couple years now. Throws a lot of IR and have been flawless. Beam pattern, IR power, and photocell sensitivity are adjustable. 5

[16 x SMT] I upgraded from the illuminator provided with my scope , to the Supernova. As expected it gave me greater range. The unexpected bonus was the better duration of the battery. With the original, I had to change out batteries during a night's hunt. With this I have not. Finally, I own several ATN products and have found your technical support and customer service to be superb. Sign me a loyal and satisfied customer. 5

[50' (15 m)] I bought a similar version from another manufacture to increase the license plate reading capability of my Dahua 5442E-Z4E license plate camera. It was a nice step in the right direction. So, I decided to up the IR some more and see how that would work. While searching the internet I found this model with double the IR power. I bought one and it was an even bigger success. I can now read close to 100% of the plates. So, I have ordered two more to go in my other locations. By the way, this one draws 1 Amp @ 12vdc of power according to the spec sheet that came with the camera. For comparison the other one draw 4/10 of an amp at 12vdc. I am very impressed with this unit. 5

[120°] This really lights up the target area. It was well worth the purchase price. Just realize that it's a large, heavy light. The mount is cheaply made. I don't know who they have making it, but it doesn't have the ATN quality that I expected. I had to re-tap the screw holes just to get it mounted. The adjustments are a little awkward and with heavy recoil it tends to move. 5

[1.47' (45 cm)] Well-built and surprisingly bright for a short range illuminator. My only gripe is the user manual I received, it came in every language except English. I would have preferred more technical information about optimum placement and more intelligible graphs for the various diffusers. Even so, not a big issue. A couple minutes of trial and error and you'll have the neighborhood lit up nicely. Definitely recommend. 5
