The black powder coated Iluminar WLC150-PoE Medium-Range White Light Illuminatorfrom Iluminar WLC150-PoE Medium-Range White Light Illuminatoris designed to provide visible lighting for color network cameras via PoE (Power over Ethernet)-enabled network infrastructure. It employs 12 SMT (Surface Mount Technology) white LEDs that provide illumination up to 26' (8m). This IP66-rated illuminator is vandal-resistant and can be installed both indoors and outdoors. Its die-cast aluminum housing and tempered glass panel provide protection from harsh weather conditions and rapid temperature variations ranging from -40 to 122°F (-40 to 50°C). The illuminator features dual power input (12 VDC or 24 VAC) and automatic light on/off via built-in photocell.

[Up to 26' (8 m)] I did quite a bit of research before making this purchase. I used NVGs and other night vision devices when I was in the U.S. Army. The Axton products are military grade and built like a tank with a lifetime warranty to boot. Plus, they provide world-class customer service. I'm very pleased with my purchase and it is worth every penny. 5

[Up to 26' (8 m)] Added this for my License Plate Camera and it is better than expected with a focused high intensity IR light that reflects off of plates making all plates at night easily readable. See attached photos and note emitters are red and visible just hard to photograph. Also have 2 other Axton IR emitters for the front yard that replaced some cheap IR emitters. The difference in coverage, distance and even spread is night and day. 5
