The Kaiser 56mm Push-On Lens Cap for Camerasis designed to fit any camera, enlarger lens, binocular, tele-, micro-, or spotting scope lens. It is for lenses having a front or rear ring with an outside diameter of 56mm. The cap should fit snuggly but not so tight that it is hard to remove.

A: Unfortunately the Kaiser push on cap will fall off the ZS100. When the camera is turned off, the lens is retracted. The ZS100 has a built in guillotine style lens cover that automatically covers the lens when powered down so an accessory lens cap is not needed.

A: I completely concur with Gaston. The best way is to measure the rear mount and even then i would order multiple sizes just to make sure you get the correct one and then just return the others that do not fit perfectly.

A: Most likely. I used a 41mm Kaiser cap on an Arriflex lens as a temporary rear cap. The lens rear is 41mm. I just tried an actual Arri rear cap on my Leica's Summitar, and it fit.

[Front] Some time ago, I spoilt the my G16's lens cover blades and it won't close/open properly. Went to service centre and they told me they can't change the blades and have to replace the whole lens part, not worth. The camera still work perfectly well and I wouldn't want it to be on the shelves just like that. Found this here and decided to give it a try. Fits well to my G16 and I can finally bring it out again! 5

[0.08 lb] I have this and other Kaiser push-on caps in various sizes and I find them handier to use than the more common center-pinch. Seems like I always have trouble getting a grip on the pinch mechanism, or I don't get it seated just right. Especially a problem with very thin-rimmed filters. One note: Don't go by the size of the filter. For example, I have a lens that takes a 77mm� filter but needs the Kaiser 80mm cap. To figure out what mm you need, take a ruler and measure across the lens or filter face at the widest part, then convert to millimeters. These caps aren't to everyone's liking but they work for me! 5

[0.08 lb] It does what it's supposed to do it covers my lens my additional lens also it fits snugly and doesn't fall off. I think that's about all you can say. 5
