A: This is made for compatibility with the Sony ECM-44 & ECM44B models.

A: No

A: No it doesn't it secures it safely within the bracket, (ring of wire you see in the picture.)

[Black] It's always worrisome when you buy an audio product used and find that small essential parts are missing. These fit perfectly; they're sturdily built and exactly what I needed. Nice that you get two, as I ahd purchased two ECM-44 lavs and both came without clips. 5
