Benzotriazole is used as an organic antifoggant and density depressant in developers.

Benzotriazole acts as a restrainer without affecting other properties of the developer. It can also be used as a fog restrainer when processing out dated papers

When blue-black or cold-black image tones are desired with bromide papers, benzotriazole should be used in addition to, or substituted for, potassium bromide

Make a 0.2% solution of benzotriazole (2 grams benzotriazole in water at 125°f/52°c or higher to make 1 liter) then reduce the bromide to 1/10 or 1/6 strength and use just enough Benzotriazole solution to prevent developer stain or fog. A little experimentation may be required.

The same treatment can be applied to chloride and chlorobromide papers to eliminate any greenish black tendencies and/or achieve a blue-black tone.

A: ZEISS Anti-Fog Lens Wipes (30-Pack) are designed for cleaning eye glasses, but would not damage a camera lens. A better option would be ZEISS Cleaning Fluid, which is designed for camera lenses.

A: This particular Rosco V-Hazer Fog Machine is 110V only.

A: This is compatible with only certain Manfrotto products

A: Yes the only difference between the 120V and 220V is the plug and the fuse.

A: We have not seen any other version that separates right from left.

A: Yes this fluid would be compatible with water based fog machines by American DJ.

Q: 7. Is this safe for use with all coatings that are on camera lens?

A: This kit can be used on any lens surface.

Q: 8. will this grip remotely operate my camera ?

A: No, it will not. It is just a handle for keeping your rig steady. For your reference, I used this on my FS700 and it does not attach properly. Check that your ARRI rossette on your rig or camera has a deep screw hole. The FS700 ARRI rossette is shallow and so this handle does not attach without some modification.

Q: 9. Is the Tripod end 1/4 or 3/8? What about the opposite end?

A: Manfrotto tripods that have a Easy Link adapter built into them would have a 3/8-16" thread.

Q: 10. Does the end of this grip (the interior aluminum post) have a -20 thread tap? If I wanted to change the grip, is that possible?

A: The Movcam Anti-Skid Handgrip does not have a 1/4"-20 thread anywhere on it. It will attach via a rosette at its end. We do not sell replacement grips for this handle.

[7 x 4 x 4"] I use it with the ZACUTO Kameleon. I've tried the +3 also, but it was too much magnifying. Be careful with the screw when you put this one back in, not too tight... 5

[0.38 lb] In the past 10 years, I have found that I can be a more versatile printer just by mixing my own chemistry. A lot of the commercial developers that were once available in the store as a package have been discontinued, and the formulas to these developers are getting easier to find since they are no longer available in package form. I have found that Photographer's Formulary chemicals work best for people like me who are mixing a lot of their own chemicals, and I for one highly recommend them. 5

[7 x 4 x 4"] I know this is meant for the Gratical, but I recently installed it on my Z-Finder and it works perfectly for eyes that need a little extra magnification in the viewfinder. 5

[0.38 lb] This does exactly as promised, no more no less. Reduces fog fantastically, but also knocks back development speed and paper sensitivity. The directions say to dissolve the 10g in 500mL water and using at a rate of 30mL per L of developer, this is not easy and takes a very long time. I recommend 10g in a Liter of water and using 60mL /L developer, though heat and adding a little less than a gram of sodium carbonate will assist in the dissolving process without effecting the benzotriazol solution. 5
