So it'd be nice if this did have that feature to shoot a tone over the coax and use the probe to pick the right line out off 20 or more.

A: Yes, it works pretty well. I used it in a jumble of 20 Ethernet cables going through a wall. There are fancier devices that can tell you the length of a cable, but for the price this is a good deal. There was some leakage to adjacent wires on the same cable, but I could still tell which pin was connected to the pin on the other end.

[0.2 lb] I use this meter for all kinds of trouble shooting and consider it very reliable and easy to use. The only problem I have is my hearing is not good and I can't hear the Continuity buzzer so I have to look at the readout. The display is a little slow but then my preference has always been analog meters. Can't think of any other product that comes close to this meter's quality and price range. 5

[0.2 lb] This device works great when used with the Muxlab Extender. I came right out of the extender into a 10 port gigabit POE switch, and ran 5 monitors up to 200ft from the switch to each decoder. You do need a decoder for each monitor. Since the switch was POE I did not have to use the provided power supply for any decoder 5
