This SKB iSeries 4217-7 Waterproof Utility Casefrom SKB iSeries 4217-7 Waterproof Utility Caseis a storing and transporting solution for your delicate electronics, microphones, mixers, cables, video, or photography equipment. This case features a layered foam fitting the interior.

This injection molded waterproof case is constructed of high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasketed, waterproof, submersible design (IP67) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. Its continuous molded-in hinge, patent pending "trigger release" latch system, comfortable, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, secure stacking, and automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C) all contribute to its military grade design.

Q: 2. can I get it with layered foam (each layer is a solid piece)? I want to cut my own and don't like cubed foam coming apart

A: The SKB iSeries 3613-12 Waterproof Wheeled Utility Case (with Foam Insert) comes with a non-precut foam.

Q: 3. Would this fit 1 Aputure 120D II and 1 Aputure 300D II? I'm planning in buying both and want a case big enough to pack them together and try and put the light stands in it too.

A: Both lights plus 2 stands under 34 inches (folded) should fit, as well as some cords and accessories. Removing the reflectors from the lights will allow for more packing options.

A: That will depend on the size of the light stands you are using when folded up, along with the additional components you pack in to this case. This case has interior dimensions of 35 x 12.5 x 10.5", you will want to stage your gear to see if they will fit within the specs above.

There are also wheels so that you can load this full and then pull it to your destination. The paperwork even stated that it meets TSA standards for airport transportation. This is one heavy duty case and it has a lifetime warranty. Amazing quality and I cannot wait to use this for many years to come. 5

[Yes] This case is being used to house 2 sennheiser lavalier transmitters, there assoicated lapel microphones elements and 4 AA batteries. I was easily able to remove the cube foam pieces that I needed to allow the above noted items. They fit snuggly and will last MUCH longer being safe and secure in this case than the microphone bag they were previously stored in. My employees also think it is pretty niffty. 5

[27.5 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most heavy-duty case I have owned! I took it camping with me this past weekend and it stormed much of the time. My rifle did not get even slightly wet! The casing itself is super thick and secure and even has an extra padded coating inside the thick casing! I love that it has wheels so it can be moved conveniently from place to place. I will definitely be using this again and again, especially in the coming months! I definitely recommend! 5
