[0.1 lb] I spent so much money on an expensive brand that never lasted...until I found the Vello Freewave transmitter and receivers...I've bought three just so I have plenty. Work much better than more expensive brands and Last longer too!

[0.1 lb] I put off buying these because of the price but now I wish I had purchased them a long time ago. For delivering audio from my audio mixer to the camera I use Lectrosonics 400 Transmitters and I was always checking to make sure the battery hadn't gotten low or died completely. And I was going through a number of 9V batteries every day. These have saved me a lot of money on batteries as well as giving me piece of mind never having to check the battery status of my transmitters.

[0.1 lb] Having owned the SR from Lectro, I like this better. Sure not the same power as the SR, but quality in build and sound are right there. And the tuning, channel search could not be easier. Love it

[0.1 lb] I have used these both in the studio and outdoors and I have not had any missed shots. They have been extremely reliable.  I would definitely recommend them.

[0.1 lb] Use the new Lectrosonics L series in my audio bag with my Sound Devives 633. 3 block RF scan with wireless is a big plus working in the field.

[0.1 lb] What can I say? It's a much needed accessory for the LR series Receiver. It's a little tricky to install, be careful of the tiny screws. Once it's installed you can put it in your sound bag and connect it to your BDS system. Just wish these came as part of the purchase, being that most professional sound people need it to work in a bag.

[0.1 lb] Yeah is pricey but this thing is solid. Metal internal frame and you can really snug the supplied nuts tight for the cold shoe. Removing the cold shoe and mounting on a small friction arm is really nice too!

[0.1 lb] Beware if you're using this with power adapter and Venice via an A-Box, there's been a few cameras fried with this combination. it's a mystery which equipment is a fault.

[0.1 lb] I've been using a Vello transmitter & 2 receivers for a while with great success. About to open a studio. I have 2 bodies & 5 flash so I ordered 3 more receivers and another transmitter so I could set up all 5 flashes & have a transmitter on both bodies so I won't have to swap lenses or move lights. They work great! The strength of the signal is great, they fire from separate rooms, different floors, even through walls. Not TTL, but I prefer to shoot everything manual so not an issue for me. I set the 5 receivers on a different channel, 1 through 5, that way I can see what each light does separately. Once I have them as I like them, just switch the transmitter to "all channels" and they all fire for the shot.
