Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the power input? What kind of cable could I use to go from an NP-1 or BDS into the SRc?

A: The receiver accepts from 6-18V d.c. @1.4W, so it is compatible with most any battery or DC supply system. The connector is an LZR threaded locking plug. Our PS200 cable goes from a Hirose to LZR so that might help. (You didn't state what type of connector is at the supply side). Also - and very important: you must order with the receiver a bottom plate that is suitable to your application. If the receiver is not being used in a camera the most commonly used plate is the SREXT. This gives you both audio channels out on TA3 connectors and the LZR power input port.

Q: 2. Does it come with the TA3 to XLR cable?

A: No

Q: 3. Whats included in the box?

A: In the box is the receiver, a wall mounted power supply, and 2 antennas. The bottom plate, which is selected according to the way it will be used, must be ordered separately. For example, for a Panasonic camera you need to order an SRSUPER plate. Please see the Lectrosonics website for a list of available bottom plates.

Q: 4. Is there a way to D-tap this?

A: You could use a an adapter, such as the FotodioX Power Adapter Cable - D-Tap Male to 2.1mm Barrel (69.5"), BH #FOCC8DCDTAP to utilize batteries with D-tap connection.

Q: 5. Can you have one transmitter going to multiple receivers?

A: Yes, that is possible, you just need to have the receivers tuned to the same channel and frequency band.

Q: 6. Is it compatible with Sennheiser G4 transmitter?

A: No it is not. Do not mix and match brands.

Q: 7. Where can I find a holder for my Sony camera for this receiver?

A: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1095137-REG/lectrosonics_lrshoe_receiver_mount_kit.html/overview?sts=pi&pim=Y

Q: 8. Does this run off of 9V battery power?

A: You would need SR9VBP to be able to run this on a 9V battery. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/663969-REG/Lectrosonics_SR9VBP_SR9VBP_9_Volt_Battery.html

Q: 9. Is this compatible with older Lectro transmitters (e.g. UM400a)?

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics SRc Dual-Channel Slot-Mount ENG Receiver can be used with older Lectrosonics transmitters that operate on the same frequency band. The receiver has different compatibility mode settings for use with transmitters other than those from the Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless series.

Q: 10. no antena in the box?

A: The Lectrosonics R400a will ship with power supply and 2 antennas.

[0.08 lb] I was using a G4 and needed some more mics. There are a lot of options out there but these just work. I wanted something with good range and no dropout issues. I got these for one thing and now I use them for everything. They are crystal clear. I started using them at church also and there is no issue even with everyone on wireless devices. It is my first Lectrosonics system but definitely not my last.

[0.08 lb] I bought the SRC as my first dual receiver having used the SRB a few times beforehand.

The long and short of this thing is that it’s a workhorse that is accurate in its scanning and compatibility with devices is fantastic.
The one downside to this thing is that it still has the trouble with Walkie-talkies if they are used too close to it. So be aware of your proximity to two-way radios.
I can’t recommend this product enough. Truly the best tech Lectrosonics has to offer.

I use this in an ENG bag for reality tv and it helps with cutting the weight down from the old 411a receivers. Also the versatility of the bottom plate adapters lets you use it in a camera slot, a rack mount, or for firmware updates. A must buy.

[0.08 lb] I upgraded from the Sennheiser G3 Wireless system to the Lectro L series for documentary work. I use this with LR shoe receiver mount kit and go direct to camera. This system provides a huge improvement in audio quality and range as well as being much less prone to dropouts. I have always been able to find a clean frequency whenever I scan. Highly recommend.

[0.08 lb] My transmitters were running for less time with my 4 year old batteries when I realized how old they are. The new ones were great and probably change them only twice in a 12 hour day.

[0.08 lb] Having owned the SR from Lectro, I like this better. Sure not the same power as the SR, but quality in build and sound are right there. And the tuning, channel search could not be easier. Love it

[0.08 lb] Use the new Lectrosonics L series in my audio bag with my Sound Devives 633. 3 block RF scan with wireless is a big plus working in the field.

[0.08 lb] This is my first Lectrosonics purchase after doing some extensive research on upgrading my previous setup. This has exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only do I use it for filming but I also use it at our church at it works flawlessly! The sound difference is beyond just noticeable. For the first time in 19 years we have no dropouts with a lapel mic.

[0.08 lb] This baseplate for the DSR4 is needed if you wish to upgrade the Firmware on the DSR4. When in an SD SL-2 upgrade doesn't take. The unit needs to be taken out of the SL-2 and this baseplate put on to load the upgrade

[0.08 lb] AllProHD.com needed a single receiver for some smaller one-man- band projects. We tried Senheiser G2 and new G3 and again they still suck. So we spent a little more and glad we did. The LR works with all our smqv packs and HMA cubes and a good companion to the SRC RX. This completes our kit and our sound is excellent. The signal is super clear as you would expect. If you are looking for solid wireless performance then look no further. This stuff always works perfect and has the clarity we need for professional productions.

[0.08 lb] This is not my first SRc. It's my 7th (4 in one bag, 3 in the other), as I keep adding channels to my inventory. With plenty of transmitters on hand, I needed to add two extra receiver channels to my secondary sound package. I'm all-in on Lectrosonics and the A1 block for talent wireless.

I use the SRc with SMDWB and SMWB transmitters.

Menu navigation is intuitive. Build quality is top-notch. The SREXT back plate is easy to install for immediate integration into a bagged sound package.

There's been plenty of chatter about signal range with the SRc not quite being up to snuff as compared to the lauded 411a, but both my sound packages have antenna distribution with PSC RF Multi and Betso Bowties, and I have no issues with signal range.

Even with the newer all-digital systems hitting the market (822, DSQD), there's still plenty of life in digital hybrid.
