This Wooden Camera Gold Mount Plate for Canon C100/C300from Wooden Camera Gold Mount Plate for Canon C100/C300enables you to power your Canon C100, C100 Mark II, C300, or C500 using longer-lasting Gold Mount batteries. The plate connects to the camera's DC-in port via an integrated 16" cable. A built-in regulator provides the appropriate 8.4V feed to your Canon cine-style camera. The Gold Mount Plate can also provide 12-16V accessory power through its one D-Tap port.

The Gold Mount Plate for Canon C100/C100 MkII/C300/C500 may be attached to your rig using a Wooden Camera Battery Slide and/or Rod Clamp (sold separately).

[1x D-Tap] Albeit fairly expensive, the mount is comfortable and light. Changing around the rig is simple and easy. I use this with my C100 and have immensely enjoyed the easy of setup and breakdown as well as the comfort while shooting. I have needed a counter weight, which is not included. Overall, I highly recommend. 5

[Gold Mount] Wooden Camera is a company that is doing it right. Smart solutions for professional needs. This is a solid piece of kit that doesn't add a ton of weight. Great for mounting a monitor. Definitely purchase along with the Shoe Handle Mount. 5

[Gold Mount] Hard to complain: attaches super securely to the hotshoe, gives you multiple, useful mounting points, doesn't cost a lot. Highly recommended to swap top handle with something more secure, rail mounts, monitors, whatever you've got. 5

[1x D-Tap] Glad I got this for my c100 mkII, handle feels much more secure than the original mount. Lots of places to attach externals, fairly low profile, allowed me to move my mic to the side which cut down on the overall size of the camera substantially. Now it fits in the bag with the mic on, so I can hit the ground running. Would recommend- 5

[1x D-Tap] Using this battery plate with the Wooden Camera Battery slide on the new Canon C200. Like all Wooden Camera gear, this plate is a quality piece of gear although I was surprised that the actual battery plate is made by IDX and not branded Wooden Camera but doesn't matter. The cable is thick and heavy duty and should last a while, I like the protruding battery release button, easy to access without being too out in the open. The plate secures to the Wooden Camera Battery Slide with four included Phillips screws. I really appreciate that the plate has not one, but two D-Taps, very useful for powering outboard recorders, lights, EVFs, etc. There are dozens of battery plates on the market and that B&H sells and this is not the cheapest. But if you are using pro gear, why cheap out, buy the good stuff that will function correctly and last a while! 5
