Use this Wooden Camera Gold Mount Plate with XLR Connectorto connect long-lasting V-mount batteries to any camera that supports a 4-pin XLR connector. Compatible cameras include the Sony F5, Digital Bolex, and Blackmagic Studio Camera.

The plate connects to the camera via a 4-pin XLR connector, and reads the battery's power output to ensure the correct voltage is delivered to the camera. The XLR connector neatly extends out from the side on a 16" cable. The plate also features one D-Tap accessory port providing 12 to 16V of power (depending on your battery).

This plate is designed to be mounted on your rig using Wooden Camera's Battery Slide mounting adapter, sold separately. But you can also mount it like any standard plate.

A: For nearly a year, all of our battery plates now come with two additional D-Tap ports. However, we at Wooden Camera are not aware of specific stock details at B&H. There is a chance B&H may have some older, single D-Tap versions in stock. I would recommend reaching out to their customer service team to confirm shipment of the dual D-Tap version, if you plan to make a purchase of this battery plate.

[0.3 lb] I use this with a Rokinon prime mounted on camera, a Chrosziel mattebox and follow focus, and an Odyssey 7Q+ recorder in a shape cage - all on a Zacuto recoil plate. Fits great and leaves room for two padded lens cases in the bag behind a partition. It's solid, has a fair amount of pockets for extra cables/accessories. The only con is that it's enormous, so not the easiest thing to rush through a doorway with... But if you need to keep an FS7 built and ready to shoot, that's also a pro. 5

[Gold Mount] This plate is terrific quality with a great tight lock. The two p-tap ports are great vs a normal plate with only one. Plus, irs cheaper than the Smallhd plate! I use this on my Smallhd 1303 HDR to power the monitor and two Teradek recievers at once, keeping the 2 pin LEMO on the monitor free for charging focus hand units or additional tools. 5

[0.3 lb] It's been a while that I'm looking for an adapter plate to use my gold-mount batteries on my camera that has a v-mount plate. There's a couple options that are cheaper, but hey, buy cheap buy twice! This adapter plate is very well-made with quality components and you can be sure that there will be no electrical shorts or bugs with this one. Personally, I prefer buying this brand than a 100$ plastic adapter that won't last the long run. Very happy with this product. 5

[Gold Mount] The previous rater fairly states that the a7s shows that it starts around 60% and drops to zero - but I've run it at 0% for 2 hours on a shoot that was being shared with a blackmagic video assist monitor. It performed flawlessly at 0%. My camera operator alerted me, but I had to assure him it was fine. Just pay attention to your Anton battery level and work accordingly. 5
