Q: 1. Can this unit be remote controlled? How much is the RC? Is there software to adjust the unit like the Movi? Can it be on my iMac portable, iPad or iPhone or must it be on my desktop? How hard to adjust is it? I was told by their engineer that they were updating the 3 axis units with a sturdier control board/circuit board. Was this done? Thank you, Dr. Berne Shaw, a loyal B&H Customer and very much wanting to buy Helix 3 axis unit

A: Yes, the Helix can be remote controlled by a RC control if you purchase the 2nd Operator mode. Futaba is a well regarded brand of remote controllers that we sell. The number of channels and the frequencies need to be determined before purchasing. Prices for the Futaba start around $165.00. You can access the Helix for adjustments via the Bluetooth Module. We suggest that, while they can be added later, getting both the 2nd Operator Mode and the Bluetooth module installed beforehand is a very good idea since they can only be added by Letus technicians.Since the Helix is only on pre-order at this time, you will be assured of getting the very latest version.

Q: 2. This cable is very short.I would like to know if the power cable Arri Macho Lemo 2-pin and XLR female 4-pin MFR code # K2.0014342 is equal to the cable of Letus MFR # LT-HX-XLRThe Arri has no image and in the title of the product says male and female, but in the specifications says female and female. Is the description wrong? Is there an image? In the case of the Letus cable, do you have other images to see the pins?I would like more information and if both cables are the same to be able to use it as power cable of a gimbal helix stabilizer to the camera.Thank you.

A: The ARRI 12V, 2-Pin LEMO-Type Male to 4-Pin XLR (Female) Power Cable (20 ) B&H # ARK2.0014342 MFR # K2.0014342 is according to ARRI: ARRI - Cable Le m2p - XLR f4p (0.5m/1.6ft)Cable PWR OUT/12V connector Lemo-type 2p (male) to XLR 4p (female). Can be used to power an external on-board monitor from an ARRI camera, WVR-1, battery adapter plate or a power splitting box. Length: 0.5m/1.6ft. I will alert the web department to the issue. We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience.

Q: 3. Will this hold a Sony FX9 with the Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Full-Frame Power Zoom Lens?

A: Yes, the Letus35 Helix 3-Axis Camera Stabilizer with Bluetooth/RC Modules and Encoders will hold the Sony FX9 with the Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Full-Frame Power Zoom Lens.

Q: 4. Can the Letus35 hold a Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k?With a lens and battery I'd be within the payload, but it looks like a lot of dslr/mirrorless shooters are using this. Not sure if there'd be enough clearance in the back with the battery. Does the battery have a D-Tap outlet I could use to power the UMP?

A: If it is within the payload it should work, however you may need the Letus35 Heavy Duty Camera Plate for Helix, B&H # LELTHXHDC as well. That plate allows you to balance larger cameras on the Helix. https://bhpho.to/2iasObp

Q: 5. Will this work with the Canon c200

A: Yes it will. The Letus Helix is designed to handle cameras like the Canon C200.

Q: 6. Follow up question in regards to the Letus 35 and the Letus Pro- what is the difference/better for the Sony FX9?

A: The Letus35 Helix 3-Axis Camera Stabilizer with Bluetooth/RC Modules is designed for camera setups weighing up to 16 lb while the Letus35 Letus Helix Pro is designed for setups weighing up to 20 lb along with a front support ring to eliminate flex. Considering the size of the Sony FX9, the Pro version may be a better choice.

Q: 7. What does RC mean? What do you mean by RC?

A: RC means Radio Control, the Helix Jr. can be remotely controlled using a compatible Spektrum controller.https://bhpho.to/2ubh4LT

[Lithium-ion] It’s been almost one year since I bought this product. I was skeptical first since there aren't many reviews of this product and it is one of the most expensive camera stabilizers in the market.
Like, I said it'd been almost a year now, and I had an opportunity to use Letus Helix on plenty of wedding events...and the more I use it, the more I am falling in love with this gimbal. It's very easy to setup; you can set this on the ground quickly change lenses and adjust very quickly. Doesn't take too much of time to bring it back to balance. The encoder motors work great. I love the briefcase mode.
I mostly use Canon C100 M2, but this gimbal easily handles my C300 M2 with Canon 16-35L III lens or with the 24-70L lens.
I had to practice a little bit to get stable footage, but I had never used gimbal in my life, the learning curve for me was minimal, a couple of hours of good practice is good enough to start getting good footage.
I looked into purchasing another gimbal in the markets, but I like the form factor of this gimbal - holding at eye level has its advantage. Customer support is excellent. Overall, I am glad I purchased this product, I am pleased with it, and I am highly recommending to anyone looking to buy Letus Helix with encoder motor. It is one of the best gimbals in the market now.

[12.2 A] Out on location my go to is the Juice Box Battery for Explorer 1500 Power Supply. The great thing, its 100% less noise then your clunky generators. I have two of these workhorses and i'm very confident out on location.

[5200 mAh] This is an amazing Rig. Being that it's a little less used than the movi or ronin, you need to find custom solutions for cabling when using a follow focus system. It is very stable once you get up and running and Letus now have a website for the rig (letushelix.com). It's very easy to balance and the weight centered on the lens so switching lenses is easy and requires a minor adjustment to the bottom plate. Must haves, Monitor Solution (Small HD 502), Follow Focus (Red Rock Micro Remote Focus). If you get all of these solutions you will spend about $ at the end of the day, but hey, can you run with an 85 mm lens on a glidecam and keep it in focus?
