  • The rugged, all-metal transmitter features a backlit LCD that displays essential information and provides fast menu access. It can be locked out to prevent accidental changes during a performance. The transmitter syncs to the receiver via infrared with a quick press on the Sync button.

  • The system operates in the H50: 534 to 598 MHz UHF band with a 64 MHz tuning range and 2560 selectable frequencies.
  • Digital Predictive Switching Diversity uses a microprocessor to switch antennas before dropouts occur.
  • Two detachable 1/2 wave dipole antennas are included.
  • 256-bit AES encryption offers unbreachable privacy by using a unique, randomized encryption key generated every time encryption is enabled.
  • Low latency makes the system ideal for meetings that require live sound reinforcement.

  • The receiver’s scanning function automatically finds, prioritizes, and deploys the cleanest frequencies to transmitters via IR sync.
  • The receiver offers up to 60 dB of adjustable gain with an internal limiter that automatically engages to prevent digital clipping of your audio.
  • Intuitive front-panel controls with audio and RF LED meters as well as a peak indicator, allow for quick visual checks.
  • Ethernet networking enables real-time, precision monitoring and control of your system as well as automatic frequency coordination across multiple receivers, using Wireless Workbench software (WWB) for Mac/Windows.
  • The system is compatible with external controllers such as AMX and Creston.
  • Remote Control: Make adjustments from anywhere in the venue from your iPad/iPhone via the ShurePlus Channels Mobile App for iOS devices.

  • Smart Power Management on Transmitter: The SB900A lithium-ion intelligent rechargeable battery with SBC charger (both available separately) provide extended transmitter battery life over alkaline batteries.
  • The SB900A’s remaining battery life can be metered in hours and minutes from the receiver’s front panel.

  • Adding UA874 active antennas or PA805 passive antennas increases the range of your system and offers increased protection against interference.
  • The UA844+SWB antenna distribution system (available separately) lets you stretch the power of your antenna pairs, giving you more on-air channels in less setup time.

Shure offers numerous lavalier and handheld microphone options to adapt your QLX-D system as your needs evolve.

  • The WL183 (omnidirectional) lavalier mic offers consistent pickup even when the talent turns away from the mic.
  • The WL185 (cardioid) and WL184 (supercardioid) lavalier mics offer narrower, feedback-resistant pickup patterns for louder events.
  • The discrete MX153 sub-miniature earset mic provides exceptional clarity in spoken word applications.
  • The QLXD2 handheld transmitter is available with several mic capsules choices for presenters who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this the standard xlr connection or the mini xlr?

A: This headset come with a mini XLR and a standard XLR adapter. I love this headset because I can use it with my wireless body transmitter and also use it pulgged in to my mixer. It does require phatom power when used with a mixer.

Q: 2. Is there any solution to get it connected to a computer via USB or 3.5 mm jack?

A: To connect the Shure SM35 Performance Headset Condenser Microphone (TA4F) to a computer, you would need an audio interface such as B&H # FOSSOLO4G. Consumer audio interfaces do not have TA4 inputs, so you would also need the Shure RK100PK Preamplifier (B&H #SHRK100PK) to convert the microphone's output to XLR.

Q: 3. I have a SHURE BLX4 J10 and BLX1 J10. Is it possible that the Shure SM31FH is compatible with these?

A: Yes. These cmponents are compatible.

Q: 4. Does this microphone sound any better with the GLDX 14 than the BLX 14? We commonly have music playing and want to make sure our instructor's voice is clear and retains a dynamic profile.

A: The Shure SM31FH Fitness Headset Condenser Microphone will sound the same with both wireless systems. The PA that you are connecting the wireless mic system and music to will most likely have more of an affect on the clarity of the sound.

Q: 5. Shure SM35 Performance Headset Condenser Microphone (TA4F) Can this mic be connected to the Rode GO wireless mic?

A: No

Q: 7. Can I use this to teach yoga while on the zoom app?

A: The SM31 is a good option for fitness applications like teaching yoga. [2400 Ohms] Good mid priced system. Never had any problems with it. Good range. You will appreciate the scanning feature. The BLX1 body pack is plastic. The BLXR is a rackmountable receiver that has a few more features that the regular one. Worth the extra money. SM35 headset is comfortable to wear once you adjust it. It does require a different mic technique that a handheld , but you will get used to it. Does not come with batteries or a case. It does come with rack mounting tray and hardware.

[120 dB] I play 4 keyboards set up in an L shape, and I am the lead singer in our band (PSYKX CREAK - in case you were wondering :-)). Had a real problem with feedback every time I turned my head, with the mic that came with my original Shure wireless kit. I bought this mic/headset, and it not only is SO much better with avoiding feedback, but it also fits my head better and gives me better sound quality as well. Really worthwhile investment!

[2400 Ohms] I purchased two of these to use at Church Service. Using this with a Shure Belt Pack system. Really good results with speech and singing. Good quality product at a very reasonable price.

[Cardioid] I use it in my amateur radio station which is computer controlled. I was looking for an alternative to boom mics which block my view of the pc and keyboard. I'm not a fan of headsets as I prefer listening to studio monitor speakers. So after some searching I found these and am very happy with them so far. they are plugged into a Behringer sound card to my pc. Sound is good with a bit of equalizer adjustment and I can wear them for a few hours before I find them getting a bit uncomfortable. I simply take them off for a minute or so and am good to go for a few more hours. You will need phantom power to use these. Overall I do recommend them.

[25 kHz] After years of outdoors and on-water use, the old headset developed a short, lost its two wind guards and was due for a replacement. We bought the system @ B&H, so it only made sense to go there for the replacement - which seems like its been upgraded. Was the same price as buying directly from Shure - but w/ free shipping. Can't beat it.

[Metal] Elecret Condenser Mic Lightweight, fits easiy around my head. I forget it's on soon after starting to perform. Very nice sound quality. It makes it easy to look around while singing and playing guitar. I found I could adjust the volume by quickly moving it closer or further from my mouth for harmony vs. lead vocals. I need to be aware of breathing into it, that makes quite a racket. It does include two wind screens which help. It does absolutely need phantom power to operate.
