The sandstone Auralex ProPanel Fabric Wrapped Acoustical Absorption Panel and Cloud Mount is designed for treating acoustic issues in a recording studio, listening room, or home theater. It can help control reverb, improve speech intelligibility, and reduce the influence of acoustical reflections within the room.

The panel is constructed from Class A fire rated foam wrapped in sandstone colored fabric. It has beveled edges and a noise reduction coefficient of 1.05. The panel can be hung from the ceiling using the four included cloud mounts and your preferred length of lead.

A: Understood, but if you paint them they will no longer absorb they will reflect as the paint will fill in the fabric. Fortunately we have acoustic panels that are made to be painted on. A: Hi Jonathan, The Cloud Mount is designed to be scaleable to whatever you need to put on it. The "standard" versions are appropriate for a system like a Movi Pro with a compact camera body (like Red or C300 etc) with compact glass. The Cloud Mount Pro comes with cabling which can accommodate gimbals as large as Movi XL with full size camera bodies. Every build and placement are unique but I hope that helps.

[Beveled] Amazing how a small item can make such a difference. Gets headphone clutter off my desk. Adheres very strongly to the underside of a shelf. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was smaller than the impression I got from the picture. 5

[1.05] I like the rubber material. Allows you to twist it a bit when trying to access the screw holes during mounting and should be gentle on the headphones on the occasional bump during hanging. The 3M VHB pre-applied tape is a great touch, but I would not trust it beyond assisting with positioning and installation. The included screws are definitely necessary and thankfully pretty small as pre-drilling into the table surface was pretty difficult (the hangers block access to the holes for something like a power drill). Does hold two pairs of my full-size Sennheiser headphones nicely (enough room for wider bands and padding). Had used a table edge mount before but that type does not fit well on all tables and the clamps needed to be re-tightened every so often. 5

[1.05] Works well for hanging almost anything that you want to be seen right away. I use it to hang headphones, hat, cords or anything that I normally use on a daily basis. I even use it to hang neck ties with. Pretty handy. 5
