Q: 2. Is this Mac compatible?

A: Yes, this and all other internal drives are agnostic and can be formatted to any file system you need.

Q: 3. which model is this, the pictures show ZA2000CM10003 but the MFR# says ZA2000CM1A003. What is different besides the exterior graphics between these models? Spec sheet says ZA2000CM1A003 is WW region, so is there a warranty difference?

A: They both have a 5-year limited warranty.

Q: 4. Is this compatible with macbook pro late 2011?, is plug and play or what do i need to install this SSD?

A: Yes, it is plug and play. I had Apple Store reinstall the OS. Do not install High Sierra as ita requirements are too high for that era machine. Upgrade the RAM to 8GB as well.

Q: 5. Hi. Will it work for a MacBook 2008?

A: Yes, that's where I put one. Works fine with noticeable speed increase.

Q: 6. Do the 2.5 MX500 drives come with a 7mm to 9.5mm spacer?

A: Yes, but if it did not, it would be simple enough to make one by sticking tiny pieces of cork at the four corners. I've used cork that is intended as furniture protectors and has a sticky side. Tiny 1/4 x 1/4 inch pieces worked great. What a great drive, my Win7 boots in seconds now instead of minutes.

Q: 7. Can this be used with all formats on the Atomos Ninja V?

A: Yes, the Seagate 1TB BarraCuda 120 SATA III 2.5" Internal SSD BH #SEZA1000CMA3 is compatible with the Atomos Ninja V to record all formats.

A: I checked with the vendor. It will not fit in an apple late 2013 model that is 13 inch.

[1000 G / 0.5 ms] My old hard drive was on its last leg. So I backed up my files and put this in. Wow. I had no idea so much of my time spent waiting was for my old clunky hard drive to spin and spin and spin. The computer seems to boot almost instantaneously when I turn it on. And the price is great. Wish I had bought one years ago. 5

[3650 TB] Just installed the new Seagate 500 GB SSD into an Acer Aspire E15 laptop. Reinstalled W10 onto the laptop and it boots really fast now. The battery life of the laptop is significantly improved as well. I was able to purchase the drive on sale so it was a great deal. 5

[200 GB] ... I installed Windows 10 64 bit on my PC. Nothing hot swap about it now that I can find. Under Windows 7 64 bit it was genuinely hot swap. It was the simplest thing to install and use. With Win 10 I need to power off the PC, remove the HDD installed, insert the required HDD and power on again. I can't find a solution so this is a last resort :-( . From what I've found it is a problem with Win 10 not the device. Nonetheless, with 4 HDDs ranging from 3 to 6 TB, it is a pain in the sitting apparatus it won't hot swap now. If there is a solution I'd love to know what it is. 5

[3650 TB] This hard drive replaced my 256 GB SSD, of the same make but an older drive. Boot times on the computer are about 4 seconds on, 4 seconds off, so fast my work computer (that also has an SSD) doesn't even get to the Bitlocker password before this one is fully on. 2 TB of storage is a great amount for photo storage (heavy camera user here) and light gaming, couldn't be happier with this drive! 5

[1000 G / 0.5 ms] Fit into my Synology like a glove. At first, I was worried this would not work. But then I saw the four screw holes in the bottom and this fit into my Synology glide like it was made for it. Works great so far. 5
