The Digital Camo option would be good for arctic conditions and may have slightly more flexibility, but the color may stand out in sandy or wooden environments found in the jungle/savannah, for which the Realtree Max5 may be a better option.

A: It is made up of 6 pieces that simply slip over the lens. I don't use the piece that covers the lens when fully extended as you can't zoom out with it on. It can be cumbersome when manually focusing or using the zoom tension ring with the covers on. Since I don't often use those features it's of little concern to me.I also cut the clear plastic out of the section that covers the IS and AF switches so they are easier to access.Overall, it's a decent product. It does it's job to help protect the lens and hide the whiteness of it.
