A: The dividers are exactly like the photo on the B&H website.

Q: 2. How big is the exterior pocket? Will it accommodate the Manfrotto 322RC2 grip action ball head? It's about 9 long by 3.5 in diameter at the widest point.

A: The useable pocket space is about 5 3/8 (zipper down to pocket bottom) x 8 3/4 (across inner side seams) - the pocket itself being bit larger. My tripod fits well into the bag but does not allow much give to the pocket depth. Hope this helps. Pleased with quality of the bag.

Q: 3. When the divider insert is added to the Nanuk 925, how much actual useable space remains? In other words, how much of the internal dimensions of the case are used up by the insert?

A: The whole bottom section of the case is filled, and the egg shell foam fills the top lid completely.

A: Yes that is correct. In the photo the set looks slightly different, but it's just the way the dividers are rearranged.

A: These dividers are gray.

A: Yes. The following shoulder strap can be removed and replaced if need be.

A: That is not including the Lid Depth. The Lid Depth is: 2.1 (55 mm).

Q: 9. How many mounted competition prints can fit in this (depth-wise)?

A: It really depends on the thickness of the board you are mounting the prints to. The case is three inches deep. So best is to figure out which board you are mounting the prints to and see how many can fit in three inches.An example is 4 ply board on an average is about .0610 thick. If you are not matting the prints but just putting the prints on board, divide .0610 inches in to 3 inches. And that is about 49 prints. But the print has thickness so that is just approximate and only if you use 4 ply board.

A: Unfortunately the Nanuk backpacks are not made to be used with inserts.
