A: Speedotron softboxes include a speed ring to fit the 202 and 206 Black Line heads. Having said that, you would need the Speedotron Speed Ring for M11, 102, 103, 105, 106 Heads B&H # SPSRM11 in order to use the 102 lamp head on their softboxes. An image for the ring is listed below.

Q: 4. What is different with the digital from the previous packs?

A: This pack has a lower sync voltage to prevent a camera that is connected to it from shorting out.

Q: 5. How many amps does the circuit need to be to use this (15, 20, 30 amps, etc)?

A: You can use it on a 15 amp breaker.

[Yes, 4x MW24QC] Use mostly for product and portrait photography. I like the power distribution and the four light unit outlets. The 1205CX are admittedly heavy, but very reliable and rugged. So please build more Speedotron stuff for european voltage. 5

[Yes] Switching from Paul Buff's Ultras, I found Speedotron to be a very well built product. I get consistent light output to 1/10 of a stop at a color temp of 5500K, which makes for very easy photo editing. The bright 250 watt modeling lamp could be used for hot light photography if needed. I like the design of these lights with the fan to keep the unit cool, the twist handle to aim and lock, and the heavy duty detachable cord for compact travel. Truly a professional product. I am using one 202 VFCC in an Octodome for a main light and one in a soft box for fill. I get a very nice soft blend of quality light for my portraits. Power from the 2403 CX LV pack. 5

[5500 K] This softbox was very easy to assemble and disassemble. I found it to be made of great materials. I was pleased at the fact that it came with a speedring. 5

[Yes] I own the Speedotron 102 black series and it fits just perfectly without me having to purchase anything extra. I called B & H before I ordered it to make sure it would fit. You have to remove the original head for this to adapt. Super easy!! I have been using this soft box for 6 years and it looks intact. Well built. Thanks Speedotron! 5

[9,600Ws] This kit came with 2 high quality umbrellas and a sync cord that stays put in the camera pc outlet. Nice stands as well. Very versatile with power options but easy to use. I can go from high power for groups to a small child quickly. Creates beautiful light. A fast recycle makes it reliable. Very durable feeling. 5
