[Handheld Only] This case is excellent and fits my M6 perfectly. One small concern was a rough spot inside the front bottom location where the pieces of leather are joined. My wife used an emory board to quickly remove the spot so no problem. Highly recommended.

[0.25 lb] I was researching to find a good to excellent half camera case for my Leica M7. Many brands out there that ranged in prices from $60 - $1000 USD. Despite the price differences, I finally settled on Artisan & Artist because they offered the best bang for dollar. No they don't boast alligator skin leather nor any exotic colored threads. They don't simply offer cheap leather imitation either. What they do offer is a real leather half case that covers my camera snug and fits onto the camera almost perfectly. The front cut out is accurate and aligns perfectly. The lug area is precise and the snap on buttons are secure and taught. The back ISO wheel cutout is fairly correct being it is a little bit off centered but still allows for functionality. The best part of this camera case (to me) was that the back of the case covered the edges of the camera back completely. Many other brands failed in their design of this back section. Too many brands simply left a 1/2 height cut horizontally across the camera backside top section - which I felt left the back upper section of camera top plate unprotected. Artisan & Artist went to a greater detail in their cutout of this back section - accurately making their cutout go around the eye viewfinder and sync socket, making sure to evenly align the case to the topmost height of camera top plate. With this method, your camera is completely protected leaving no open areas of your camera top plate. Furthermore, the film advance lever does not catch the leather case because the height of camera case is made exact/precise.

[Handheld Only] I've owned different types of leather cases for my Leica Q2, including the official Leica one and an Arte di Mano case. This one is a perfect fit. The leather feels soft and makes the camera easier to grip, and is also firm enough to stay perfectly in place. The large openings on the side don't interfere with my strap. The case is easy to install and to take off, and the added battery access door is a nice bonus.

[0.25 lb] This is a very compact half case that is easily detached when you need to change film or use a tripod. The leather looks and smells great, and protects the camera from accidental bumps.

[6.5 x 3.9 x 2"] I bought this Half Case for my 1959 M3. It fits snugly, is very pliable and soft, but I expect it will also be very durable. The leather is very high quality, and the craftsmanship is, too. I can't wait for it to get cold outside, so I can handle my M3 without gloves, relying on the half case to protect my hands. Very satisfied with this purchase.

[Slip-In] This case surpassed expectations, it isn't cheap, but the quality and fit of the leather is a timeless addition to my Leica MP.
