Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit the Tamron 15-30 f/2.8 lens?

A: No the Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 lens will not fit in this LensCoat LensPouch (Medium Wide, Black).

Q: 2. Will this pouch fit the Nikon 80-200MM 2.8 D lens fully- end to end without any of the lens protruding?

A: I don't own a Nikon 80-200 2.8 D lens and won't be able to answer the question.

Q: 3. Does the pouch hold an 70-300mm lens?

A: I'm not sure which lens you have but most 70-300mm lenses will fit in this pouch.

Q: 4. I see a lot of questions about fits for specific lenses. Is there a rule of thumb to use in determining what size pouch to order for a particular lens? Lens length?

A: Measure the physical length of your lens-- has worked for three different lenses!

Q: 5. Fit Canon 70-200 2.8 L?Will this bag fit a Canon 70-200 2.8 L? I just need a soft bag for carrying around in a backpack.

A: yes it will but it will be way too big, i have a 600mm lens in it that fits just right

Q: 6. would this fit the Nikon NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens (Nikon Z)?

A: The LensCoat LensPouch (3XLarge, Black) will fit the Nikon NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens (Nikon Z) with the rear cap sticking out. You can also attach the lenshood on reverse.

Q: 7. Will a Tamron 24-70 lens fit in this pouch?

A: Yes, the following unit will provide a snug fit for the Tamron 24-70 lens with the lens hood on reversed.

Q: 8. Is the bag height dimension the actual BAG height, or the maximum height of the lens it can be used with and still close (since it gets about 1 shorter when string is pulled)? I don't want to get one that is too far oversized for Tamron B008N (approx 5 high x 3.25 diameter).

A: These bags are giving the actual dimension of the bag, i.e. if you could lay it flat and measure the material from top to bottom (string NOT drawn). Thus, you are correct, you will lose some height when it is cinched.

Q: 9. Is this the best size/fit for the Canon 24-105mm f/4?

A: I bought both the Small Wide and Medium Wide sizes. I carry a Tokina 12-24mm f4 in the Small Wide, but I often swap my Canon 24-105mm f4 into the Small Wide pouch while the 12-24mm f4 is in use in the field. The Canon 24-105mm f4 actually fits in the Small size just fine, but it's a tight squeeze and I can just barely fully cinch the drawstrings. If you like a snug fit, the Small Wide size will work just fine for the Canon 24-105mm f4. For a more ample fit, go with the Medium Wide.

Q: 10. In the United States MARINE CORPS this camouflage pattern is known as 'Digital Desert,' and as a retired MARINE; Disabled War Veteran i am a big fan of this 'camo' pattern, everything in my home is camouflaged. I have found the medium and large size camo patterns. Do you have the small and x-large sizes available? Thank you for your time and your help.Take care and GOD Bless!!!SuperSniperSal

A: Yes, we have both the extra small and extra large. They are listed below. The BH number for them is B&H # LELCLPXLWDC and B&H # LELCLPXSDC.

[Yes] Nice bag; so simple. I wish I could get one even longer to accommodate my camera body as well as the long lens attached to it. It would be a great way to carry them around since the whole assembly could be taken out of the bag quite quickly.

[Drawstring] This will protect your lens. You can't go without it.

[Drawstring] For my expensive lens this is a great product, It helps in keeping the dust away on the lens and also helps in avoiding scratches. I use the product also to store my Auxiliaries since i dont carry my camera bag but have them all in my travel bag. The product quality is good for the price and the functionality of the product is good.

[Black] I have an odd-sized lens I couldn't find a pouch for but this one is sized right. Padding is minimal, as I expected from other reviews, so I cut a piece of closed cell foam 1/2 thick to cover the end and another rectangular piece of closed cell to wrap around my long, skinny lens. Now it's as close to bomb-proof as my other lowepro/thinktank cases.

[Drawstring] I bought this pouch for my Nikon 70-200mm F/4 and it fits perfectly. I have a Lowepro DSLR Fastpack that I use to transport all my gear. But it's not the kind of bag I want to carry around a theme park all day. When I want to take along 1 or 2 lenses I usually put them in a smaller padded backpack. This pouch gives me the added protection so they don't bang into each other in the backpack. The padded disk on the bottom gives it better protection where it matters than other simple neoprene pouches. I also recently purchased a CarrySpeed FS-Slim sling strap and I can use the clip on this pouch to clip it to the back of the sling strap. When I am walking around with my camera and 70-200 mounted I can simply slip the lens into the pouch and swing it around to my back. When I am ready to shoot it's easy to slip off and the clip keeps it on the strap and out of my way.

[0.41 lb] This 2XLarge Lenscoat LensPouch provides good protection for my Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sport Lens. The lens is large, heavy, and awkward to handle compared to my shorter lenses. The neoprene wetsuit-like material provides good bump protection for the entire lens. The strap/handle makes handling the lens much easier and safer. The neoprene fabric stretches enough to allow the drawstring to close completely around the entire lens, even with the lens hood attached in the stored position, a Sigma LCF III 105mm (pinch-style) Lens Cap on, and an Oben QR 53 Long Lens Quick Release Plate attached to the len's tripod foot. The LensPouch does not work very well with the fabric lens cover that comes with the lens though. (the fabric lens cover that comes with the lens is only slightly better than no lens cover at all, IMHO) I have neoprene lens pouches for all of my other, lenses and really appreciate the protection they provide. I was totally stoked to find a neoprene pouch large enough to fit my Signa 600mm! Well worth the price. The handle/strap is thoughtful lagniappe from LensCoat. Joe Bob says, Check It Out!
