The Redrock Micro flexCable for microRemote 24"lets you connect the microRemote Fingerwheel to the microRemote Basestation. This 24" version is designed to allow the camera operator to pull focus from the Fingerwheel. It features a 3-pin connector on one end and 5-pin on the other.

A: Yes, this particular bundle comes with the fingerwheel which is a wired connection. perfect for solo operators, very fast and responsive

A: The Red Komodo and the SmallHD Cine 7 both have a 2-pin LEMO power connector, so in theory it should work. However with out testing I cannot confirm. This cable is described to power an optional Redrock microRemote.

A: Hi Peta - thanks for asking. It may be possible, but we have no info on using it with those items and in reverse order (this is to draw power from jst and supply it to 2-pin) so we can't recommend it.

Q: 9. I want to use this on the Dji Ronin M, What else do I need to buy to make this work? Just a Ptap Cable to power it from the Ronin M? I basically want to be able to be a single operator with the thumb controller. Where Can I find out what all I need to make this work. A: If I understand your question, you want Pin-1 to be +VDC. The answer then would come from what power source it is connected to. If that is Pin-1 +VDC, this would be as well.

[0.1 lb] I love my microRemote. I've had mine for over a year and I have not had any issues with it. I do mostly concert and event shooting. It gives me freedom of running around and focusing instantly on any situation/scene. With the finger wheel attached to my microhandgrip my hands never leave the rig. This bundle was a great start for me. Since most of my shooting is run and gun I did not need wireless control. If you are a run and gun shooter this is a great tool. Its been very reliable. The auto calibration is my favorite feature. I can switch lenses and let the unit calibrate and I'm good to go. 5

[24" (61 cm)] Mine works great. I know another reviewer said they had trouble but with over a years usage and many over seas trips it's been great. It seems pricey but I have to have it. I feel because it is wired it's more solid that what seemed to be he only other option which was a remote controlled focus device that was significantly cheaper. In the end I'm glad i got this. It's one of those pieces of hear you just hate you have to spend the money on but I'm getting amazing shots I never would have otherwise. Paired with my ronin it's changed my shoots completely. 5

[24" (61 cm)] This follow focus system is extremely simple to use. All you need is 2 AA batteries in the remote, and a power source for the basestation. We use this system on our RED Helium, and plug the basestation power cable into a v-mount battery on the back of the camera via the included D-tap cable. Once you connect the motor to a rail and plug it into the basestation, boom, it is up and running. Very reliable. 5

[5-pin] Honestly one of the best purchases i've made this year! I'll admit, single channel isn't for everyone, but paired with my a7s/Ronin setup I really don't need much more than focus control! The fingerwheel is really what sold me on the unit when I saw it at last year's NAB.. More often than not, I am operating and pulling my own focus for freelance work, and small jobs don't exactly have the budget(s) to be renting FIZ units let alone another person to pull for you. The unit definitely isn't perfect and has some things I would've loved for it to have.. like not having to recalibrate each time you switch lenses, automatic backlash adjustment, etc.. but again, this is a $3k solution that you can OWN and performs just as good, if not better, than the bartech i'm used to renting IMHO 5

[24" (61 cm)] This item was the missing piece to the puzzle. Using with a the Ronin system, this wireless focus system was very easy to use and great help for the camera team. The wireless function allowed the DP to follow the subject around while the AC was able to make sure the picture was in focus at all times. The motor is very smooth and quiet, also light and compact. Not many cables to use and has great wireless range from the remote! Definitely pleased with the product and results. 5

[5-pin] Focus is the most important thing and this kit has to be factored into any gimbal as a combined purchased. Which is why i saved and went with the DJI Ronnin and not a Movi M5. Once added on, the additional weight becomes too much for the Movi M5 to bear. @ $2,600 with no case. The RONIN gives me so many options to keep for the long haul, wether i replace my canon 5d MIII or not. And as far as Movi stating that their freefly M15 systems has a full cage. I ended up going with another AMAZING red rock micro prodcut which is their Ultra cage for Gimbals and my shots looks STUNNING. 5

[24" (61 cm)] Kit came with everything I needed. Wireless Focus has great range, but more impressive is the fingerwheel to pull focus on your own! Hard case to hold everything is a great plus, highly recommended! 5
