A: The difference is based on the diffusers that they include. The XS Video Pro Plus comes with a 1/2 and 1/4 diffusion panel while the Video Pro Plus 1 comes with a full stop diffusion panel. Otherwise, they have the same dimensions and silver interior.

Q: 8. I am buying a 16 x 16 LED panel. Would this fit?

A: No, it would not. The Impact Luxbanx Duo Small Square Softbox (16 x 16 ) is designed for use with light fixtures that use a standard speedring connector, and LED panels do not use speedrings, so the above option would not work for your needs.

Q: 9. Is this usable with hot lights like the Arri 150 fresnel?

[0.7 lb] I use these all the time with arri fresnel or wescott spider lights or mole LEDs. They are tough and produce great soft light. With the various grids (20 to 60) you can really shape the light were you want it to go. 5

[0.7 lb] I have Arri T1 1000watt hotlights. I use larger Chimera softboxes for the key and fill lights but I didn’t have a softbox for the rim light. I chose the small as the light pattern was plenty big and because it wouldn’t be difficult to hang. // The softbox is robust & well made. There have been no problems with the heat. 5

[0.7 lb] Our old Chimera softbox had seen better days. After it started smoking because a sagging portion came into direct contact with the bulb, well, we decided to buy a new one. The softbox arrived quickly and in perfect condition. We noticed that our lighting situation is much improved, primarily because our old softbox was dingy with a decade of use.
