With a true barium sulfate coating, this 25-sheet pack of 17 x 22" Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305 Paper - 17x22"from Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305 Paper - 17x22"offers a style and feel similar to traditional darkroom FB-type paper due to an excellent density with smooth natural highlights. The paper features a 100% cotton fiber base with a 305 gsm basis weight and a thickness of 16 mil. Also, it is single-sided and does not use any optical brightening agents for maximum longevity. The paper offers a glossy finish and is made in the USA.

A: Yes, you will be able to use the Moab Entrada Rag Natural 300 Paper with offset printing. The paper will work with both pigment and dye based inks.

Q: 3. Can this paper be used with an Epson R2880 printer?

A: Yes. I have done so. Very good.

Q: 4. Is the finish completely smooth or is there a texture or stipple pattern? Canson's Infinity Baryta is almost completely smooth which makes the paper look like RC paper.

A: Slight texture and it very much has the look and feel of a traditional fiber paper ... definitely not like RC. To my eye the paper is slightly warm. It prints beautifully, both color and B&W, and has become my primary exhibition paper for my personal work.

Q: 5. Is this paper compatible with an Epson 9000 printer?

A: The Epson Stylus Pro 9000? Yes it would be compatible.

Q: 6. Canon Pixma printer compatiblity? No ICC profile available from Moab. How do prints look with Pixma?

A: PIXMA represents a large line of different printers from Canon. For best results, choose a profile that's closest to the type of paper you're using. Q: 7. Compatible with Canon Pixma printers? Moab has no ICC color profile for Canon Pixma. How do prints look using Pixma default printer settings?

A: Yes the Moab papers are compatible and they have ICC profiles that are downloadable from their website.

Q: 8. Can this paper be used in a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark ii printer?

A: Your printer specs show handling paper to 1.2 thickness and the Moab description on this paper lists .41 so you should be fine. I have an Epson printer, but I looked up specs on your printer. Be sure to use the proper icc profile. If Moab offers one for your printer that is a further indication there should be no issues in your use of it.

Q: 9. Hi, will this roll fit on the Canon pro 4000 large format printer?

A: Yes, this roll is made for this and all other 44" Wide Format Ink Head based roll fed printers.

Q: 10. Is it long-grained or short-grained?

A: Hi Philip, Most of the Moab 13x19 (A3+) sheet sizes are Grain Short. The grain direction is indicated on the reverse side of the Moab label. Embedded within the lot number are the letters GS or GL, indicating Grain Short or Grain Long

[Glossy] This is one of my favorite papers. I use it mainly for color, but does fairly well with bw. The surface is very nice, I find moab's colorado sattine to be a thinner 'luster' version of the Juniper. (also like the colorado) Moab's profiles are always on point with my canon pro 1 and they perform better than the profiles I made with my color munki. I've used a lot of Moab's products and they've never failed me. They might not be the most exceptional paper out there but between quality, consistency, profiles, and cost, you can't go wrong. I will be using Moab's products for a long time. 5

[Glossy] Moab Juniper is the absolute best medium I've used for printing my fine art photographic images, and because it's an expensive option, I was delighted to be able to buy it from B&H at a significantly lower price than other dealers charge. B&H delivered my order quickly. It was packed in an oversize box with wrapping materials that assured it would arrive safely. I appreciate the care that was demonstrated. 5

[Cotton Rag] This is one of my favorite papers. I use it for both black and white and color images. The results have been stunning. The slight warmth is great for my B&W images. The paper needs to dry down about 48 hours to really see the full richness. I use my old drying racks to let them air out. The paper ha a minor texture which is very pleasing. The paper can be viewed at multi angles with no problems. 5

[305 gsm] I had high hopes for this paper when I purchased it. I've had high hopes before and been disappointed with printing media and printers. This paper was outstanding. The depth of the black and whites I printed feel are the same as darkroom quality. The paper feels amazing and the images are complemented by the incredible surface of this paper. Each print belongs in an art gallery. A+ 5
