Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this film fairly good for portrait or for general people shots?

A: Yes, this film would be very good for general photography and people.

Q: 2. expiration date?

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 3. May I know the expiration date

A: Our current batch of Kodak Professional Gold 200 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film, 5-Pack) has the following expiration date: February 2025.

Q: 4. Will this film work with a Canon AE-1 program Camera?

A: Yes, the Kodak GOLD 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film) will work with the Canon AE-1 Program Camera.

Q: 5. How many exposures do I get with half frame camera?

A: Regarding the Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) and how many exposures you get with a half-frame camera, it would be generally 72 frames.

Q: 6. Has anyone used this film with flash? I may be shooting this in a small club with the usual red blue green stage lighting. Is there anything I should know about this film's performance before I experiment with it? Thanks.

A: I think it works well

Q: 7. If Kodak no longer makes film, how old is this film?

A: This is brand new film and still being made by Kodak.

Q: 8. What's the number of exposures per roll?

A: The number of exposures on a roll of Kodak Professional Gold 200 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film, 5-Pack) will depend on what format camera you are using--a 120 camera will get 12 exposures per roll, a 645 camera will have 16 exposures per roll.

Q: 9. When does these expire?

A: B&H does not sell film less than 6 months before the expiration date. We do not have access to the shipping warehouse.

Q: 10. How many pictures do you get with each roll?

A: Each roll has 24 exposure, However depending on the SLR that is being used, you might get a little more than 24 exposures.

[24] While 120 is definitely the superior version of this stock, it looks great in 135 as well. This film somehow switches on the nostalgia button in my brain, even for rolls I've just shot.

[Daylight] I live in a centrally located area in the California Delta between two major hubs: San Francisco and Sacramento. Still, I can't always find the specific types of film that I love shooting with, one of which is Kodak GOLD 200 Color Negative Film. Vivid color saturation and grain-free images are the hallmarks of this film choice. It is frustrating when I can't find the right films for a specific shoot, as a dedicated film photographer. With great joy, however, I find all my film needs at B&H Photo in well-stocked inventories. B&H is now my primary source for all my film purchases.
