The MagiCue Studio 15" Prompter Package with Softwareis a complete, modular teleprompting solution supporting cameras ranging from mini DV to ENG. It includes a downloadable PC/Mac compatible MagiCue Pro software, which is suited for small studio setups and on-the-fly revisions. The modular design of the teleprompter allows for riser-less positioning, allowing the camera to remain stationery while letting the pad and hood unit be lowered into an optimal viewing position. A 60/40 beamsplitter glass clearly displays scrolling text from up to a 17 ft reading range.

The system includes a 15" LCD monitor offering HDMI, DVI, VGA, and Composite inputs and an HDMI output. It works with any standard size tripod supporting the required payload capacity. Assembly/disassembly is toolless and the system folds flat for convenient transport and storage.

Q: 1. Would this sled assembly fit an older studio pedestal setup? Our college will be getting some studio cameras donated to the on campus TV studio (Ikegami HL 60W digital studio cameras). Will the included riser fit/need to be used?

A: This unit will have standard tripod treadings under it to be attached to a tripod head. This also lists support for ENG sized cameras. It should work as you need it.

Q: 2. Does this prompter support PTZ cameras like the AViPAS AV-1080?

A: The camera will definitely mount and work with this prompter if rigged properly and if PTZ settings sat locked so that there is no panning or tilting on subject.

Q: 3. Whats the input resolution?

A: Well, Sam, your question actually answered some of my questions. I did purchase the unit, I unpacked it enough to ensure the glass/mirror shipped without breaking, but have yet to set it up. Will be doing so this week. Good luck with yours!

Q: 4. I see that the hard case is no longer offered by the mfr. What size Pelican case would this fit in?

A: Assuming one wants to have the "wheeled" option and ample room to pluck out dedicated sections of the foam inserts to fit all pieces, then the Pelican 1600 series would be our most considerable advice.

Q: 5. What is the NATIVE resolution of the monitor?

A: At this time, MagiCue doesn't publish the native resolution of the MagiCue Studio 17" Prompter Package with Pro Software.

Q: 6. Can it be mounted on a stand as another set-up option?

A: Yes, it may be mounted on any of the supported tripods (check our product's accessories section for compatible models) as an additional setup option.

A: You will be able to use any Teleprompter Software with this system. Just as long as the computer you are using with this prompter works with the software.

Q: 9. Two questions:1) Does it keep the text in the middle of the screen so the eyes stay focused in the center and can this be adjusted via the software. Basically we don't want darting eyes as they read the top corner when the camera is focused in the middle of the glass.2) Can text be enlarged or shrunk pending on conditions? Thank you

[60/40] They have made this version easy to assemble. The overall package sets up within a few minutes and is still packed nicely on arrival. The new plate design has some limitations in terms of what hardware you can use, however, but nothing that would be a deal breaker. 5

[23 lb] This prompter was recommended to me for video podcasting and I have to say it is a terrific product. It's very easy to assemble and take it apart again and it comfortably supports my Sony PMW-300. It's really reliable for everyday usage. 5

[32 x 19 x 9"] I don't really have much to say but whenever I am working on my video projects, the teleprompter I always lay my hands on are not worth it which normally makes my work difficult and of poor quality, but of recents when I was working on my recent video projects, a friend of mine introduce me to this teleprompter and Initially, I was skeptical to make use of their service because of some bad experience I have had overtime with some companies online, but I was persuaded by my friend to give them a trial which I did, I give them a trial so I was expecting the worse like what am use to in the companies I have make use of before. I am very happy I purchased this because it's highly convenient and it's perfectly compatible with my Mini DV camera. The physique of the prompter matches its quality with a carbon fiber chassis that needs no further assembly. If you are on the lookout for a TelePrompTer that will make your life easier, this is the best choice! It's highly recommended 5

[60/40] I am a video producer and camera operator. From the past few days, I was searching for a teleprompter that could help me to solve my day-to-day needs. Then, I found MagiCue Studio 15. This is the best teleprompter, I've ever used. This has not only made my life simpler, but it has also helped me to do my work faster. This is lightweight and can easily be carried with you. Apart from its excellent features, the thing which I liked most is that its software supports 9 different languages which enable me and my colleagues to use this product without any kind of linguistic barrier. [32 x 19 x 9"] I absolutely LOVE this teleprompter! It is easy to use, even for a person like me who does small productions for fun. It is high-quality, and could be used in a very professional capacity, but is simple enough to use for a semi-pro such as myself. It's really easy to set up and it can be paired with just about any accessory you could want, including a light stand or tripod. With it's simple setup, brilliant ease of use, and professional quality, I give this teleprompter an A+! 5

[60/40] This teleprompter is a very good value for the money, in my opinion. I use for a variety of different kinds of productions. It also works with just about any camera, on the market: from Mini DV cameras to ENG cameras. Another great thing about this teleprompter is the fact that it can be paired with virtually any accessory or other component, such as a beamsplitter, light stand, tripod, etc. also, you can position it without using a riser, which means the camera remains stable while you lower the hood and the pad for more convenient viewing. This teleprompter's LCD monitor features composite inputs, as well as VGA, DVI, and HDMI, making it compatible with pretty much any device ou want to use to read from. The beamsplitter glass features 60/40 positioning, meaning scrolling text can be displayed on the prompter from as far away as 15 to 17 feet. Additionally, it comes with software that's compatible with both Windows and Mac. The prompter chassis is especially durable, made from tough carbon fiber. It's also lightweight and has a sleek design and structure. The chassis actually comes fully assembled and you can easily fold it down flat for convenient storing and/or transporting. I recommend this teleprompter as a good value for the price paid. 5

[23 lb] The perfect prompter to use for our sports production team. It works with all of our cameras flawlessly and is easy to move, highly mobile. Plus, editing scripts at the drop of a hat is simply as it hooks up to our staff's personal PCs and Mac laptops. Couldn't find a better one if you tried. Highly recommended. 5
