I also looked over the Epson 4900, which hasn't received very good reviews. A: Congratulations on making the 4880 work for you; I never could, but mine was used, and I never knew if it was really working correctly or not. But my P800 has worked better than I expected.I previously had a Chinese version of the 3880, which suited me well, but the P800 with the roll-paper feature is better for me and what I do. It's easier to set up and use than the 4880. Can't speak for the 4900.

A: I ran (150) sheets of 8.5 x 11 inch premium glossy paper with full ink coverage and full bleed. The cartridge is showing half full. When running that number of prints, I tend to use light black and vivid light magenta and light cyan at a greater pace, running those inks down to about 25% with each run. Your mileage may vary.
