CineWhite (tension matte white) has broad light dispersion through diffusion uniformity, black and white contrast, and accurate color rendition making it the most versatile in Elite's tensions screen product lines. This tensioned PVC surface is optimized for today's high-contrast ratio projectors both in commercial or residential settings. The CineWhite material equals the performance to our MaxWhite product, but provides superior surface flatness. The uniform diffusion surface has black-backing to eliminate light penetration.

[1.3] I bought it for my light controlled home theater room to increase my already high contrast protector. The gray screen gives the picture an extremely beautiful image with vivid colors an excellent contrast and brightness. The screen should be built with more quality material to provide a more strong screen especially on the back. Should have a blacks back cover.

[Front] The full video review will eventually be on KuhlToys.com, but for now suffice it to say if you want the real theater experience the right way to do it is to have the speakers behind the screen.

I do have a couple of simple suggestions about the build, so please read on.

We had two problems, both I think related.

The instructions are small, I know most men don't read them so I am sure they were trying to save paper, and I didn't read them all the way before I started.

There is a center support bar that needs a nut inserted into the slot before you finish the frame but the nut is isn't mentioned until after you finish applying the material.

I had to undo one end, pull the frame apart and insert the bolts. Then it took two people to stretch the frame the 1/16 extra to insert the support bar. This made the material wrinkle.

It took several attempts to get the wrinkles out.

My guess is to put the nuts in while building the frame, and install the center bar(s) before attaching the screen material.

This is a bright white screen that looks great in a dark room, you'll need a projector with deep blacks. A touch of grey might help with the blacks for cheaper projectors, but that screen is twice the price, and won't do 4k (yet).

The acoustics are very clean and we haven't seen any artifacts or blurring from the fabric using a Optoma 1080p projector (also purchased from B&H). We are waiting for someone to send us a 4k to review or prices to drop just a little more.

There is a black fabric backing so no need to paint the wall flat black like some other brands.

Hanging was a piece of cake, and we are considering adding the LED kit, just because the screen looks so cool.

Our setup is pretty simple THX video compliant and 5.1 with two seats in a screening room type setup.

Total Install Time about 1 hour, mostly for the redo part.

[1.3] This screen is really well constructed. I totally recommend it... make sure your space is the right size!

[Front] I ordered this screen to go with my BenQ HT3550 projector (also through B&H Photo) and had about a week of viewing on a bare white wall prior to the screen being put up. The difference is dramatic. The two areas the projectors trail behind TV's is color reproduction and contrast. I was initially worried that the ES Sable Frame CineGrey fixed frame screen may sacrifice color vibrance for the sake of contrast, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the brightness and color brilliance did not suffer at all even though the contrast was boosted tremendously. In my light-controlled room, both contrast, color, brightness, and sharpness was significantly *better* than my 55 inch 4k HDR LED T.V., which was not at all the case when I was projecting onto a bare white wall.

Well worth every penny.

Installation notes: definitely need 2 people to do the job, and just in case you are wondering if they accidentally gave you the wrong fabric...just keep rolling it out. There was a good 4 to 5 feet of white protective fabric before you actually see the screen material. Oh, and once the frame itself is assembled, I highly recommend going ahead and installing the top mounts to your wall, making sure wverything lines up with the bare frame, and *then* putting the frame back down and attaching the fabric. It is a lot easier to make adjustments and alignments without the fabric in and this also reduces the risk of accidental damage to the fabric.

[28 lb] I was surprised at how easily it assembled and how tight and flat the surface is ( not a ripple in it, like my old Da-lite Perm Wall had ). The quality is excellent. And the images from my Epson 5040ub on the screen are brighter, sharper and clearer and the color is more accurate. A great purchase. I tip my hat to Elite and to B& H ( for their great service). Thank you both!

[Wall] Took two weeks to get since it was a special order. But worth the wait. I love the upgrade. I went from a white 1.0 gain to cinegrey 1.2 gain and what an improvement with the contrast. Especially the blacks stand out. But beware, you have adjust the brightness of the projector otherwise you end up with more projector light in the middle. Also, elite screens changed the framing from the older heavier and sturdier materials to the new more flimsy assembly and lighter aluminum framing on the SaberFrames.

[16:9] This is a great screen for home theater. The picture quality is great and the quality of the material is great. It assembled very easily and looks nice on the wall. The thin bezel gives it a big tv look when not in use. This is a great product.

[1.3] What a difference ,the picture is bright and detailed I did not think that it would have that much effect on the image...I went from a sound transparent screen to this and had to move the center channel but totally worth it!

[58 x 12 x 7"] Good price good quality, easy to install (We did wall mount). The pull down mechanism works smoothly, no issues getting it to retract smoothly, goes slow and steady. Good quality image from our Optima projector on the screen, very happy for the money
