A: Hi John, you are correct - the L40 reflector will not allow an umbrella to be attached. Only the Umbrella Reflector for Siros / Siros L (B&H#BRURSMFR#B-33.117.00), included with your Siros 800L, accommodates an umbrella.We have submitted a request to B&H have this corrected. Q: 4. Is the modeling lamp proportional to the flash power? I mean is it possible to adjust it and make it proportional?

A: The Siros L LED modeling lamp is a fixed power output and cannot be dimmed to be proportional with its flash power setting.

A: Yes, this reflector will work on the Litos lamp.

Q: 8. what's diameter size?It can fit 7 honeycomb grid ??

A: I was interested to check on this since I have about a dozen standard (I think Speedotron) grids in the studio and I didn't really want to spend the money for the Bron grids. Turns out those standard grids fit and stay in place if I bend the spring outward and extra 1/2 inch. The opening of the L40 is about 6 & 7/8th inches (75mm). My standard' grids are about 6 & 5/8th (68mm) depending on how round they are after years of use. I have used them in Speedo, Hensel and Profoto grid reflectors. So they are a little small, but bending the spring outward a bit does the trick. If I was pointing the head down, I'd put a piece of gaffers tape on it for extra security.

Q: 9. Does this come with any kind of padded internal baffles or dividers that are customizable?

A: The Broncolor Flash Bag 3 for Siros Monolights BH #BRFB3 comes with padding specifically shaped to the Siros lights.

Q: 10. Hey is this specific light good foR starters?

A: The Broncolor Siros 400s is a very good strobe. It is not a beginner strobe but is good for beginner to professional use.

[Silver] These grids are so great and they are a big deal, you can control your light where you want it to go. But you must be careful not to switch on your modeling light for long time specially Halogen lamp same as mine in Minipuls C200 because of high temperature or you would see smoke comes out of it. I use them on my Siros 800 L as well so I don't see any temperature issue with its (LED) modeling lamp using these grids. 5

[Silver] Have used Broncolor for years got the L40 to replace well-used traveler reflectors. A bit bulkier but very well made less likely to dent or bend. Double-walled reflector this built and barn doors and grides at a great price. 5

[1.16 lb] This reflector is pretty straightforward, mounts to my Siros 800, and I use it for the Broncolor line of barndoors and grids. I bought the Broncolor Siros set that did not come with this kind of reflector (comes with 2 standard umbrella cylinder reflectors), and I now have many more possibilities with this reflector and the modifiers I previously mentioned. FYI, you cannot use Barndoors + Grids, the barndoors fit inside the outer rim of this reflector, and only add a small amount of thickness to the inner diameter, but you cannot put grids inside it, incase you were wondering (and not that you would need to utilize both, of course). 5
