A: It probably wouldn't work very well. It's not a shotgun it's just a condenser mic. It will not have the distance that a shotgun would. Nor will the polar pattern be the same.

Q: 2. What is the interior material like? I want to know if you can just put your filters in there, or if they will get scratched without being wrapped in something. Thanks!

A: The Kase 6 Pocket Filter Storage / Travel Pouch / Wallet is comprised of nylon, but it would be quite protective to store your Kase filters in it without the risk of scratching them.

Q: 3. Will this pouch fit the k9 filter holder?

A: Unfortunately, the Kase 6-pocket filter holder is not large enough to store the K9 filter holder.

Q: 4. Does the bag have a belt loop so I can attach it to my belt while on set

A: This pouch does not have a belt loop; I have mine velcroed to my 1510 Pelican so I always know where it's at!

Q: 5. Does the bag come with a belt? If not What belt is recommended?

A: It does not. I purchased a Domke belt and it works great. Tight squeeze to get the buckle through initially but good stuff.

Q: 6. How close does this need to be to the source? I have to film 3 people at once and was told I could boom a condenser or cardioid mic Can this plug directly into dslr of using battery power?

A: Close proximity (within .5 meter, .25 meter or less is better). This mic is designed for use on ONE person. While one could POTENTIALLY use with more than one person, it is NOT designed for that purpose. Additionally, a "Boom" Mic is typically designed to pick up only one person at a time. To use one microphone for 3 people, the room or environment would have to be very quiet. Q: 7. Can this hold a slate?

A: No. The following unit will not accommodate an industry standard slate the bag is more suitable for field recorders and etc.

A: This model is made in China.

Q: 9. What are the d rings used for? Do they dangle and get annoying?

A: The D-rings are used to attach various accessories such as clamps, carabiners, tape, etc. They dangle a bit but they do not hinder any type of performance.

Q: 10. How wide is the belt loop on the back?

A: The belt loop on the back of the Kase 6 Pocket Filter Storage is roughly 1.5 inches wide.

[Empty] I'm stuffing tools inside to use it on set/field. Hope I don't overpack since it has many compartments. Inside, it has one big pocket that is water resistant, which I can keep important thing inside separately. And on the top it has see through zipper, and I might keep memory cards and USB. Outside of bag, it has lots small and big pen holes. I would've preferred one or two bigger compartments over pen holes to keep bigger items And one last thing, it moves around the tool belt way too flawlessly, personally I'd like this to lock it in one position. 5

[Belt Loop] Over the years I've collected a good tool kits and have never felt like I had a perfect solution to keeping it all together. There'd be tools in one bag, a wrench with the grip/clamps, etc. Now they're all in one place, I don't have to remember where I left a tool, and I know this bag will hold up. Great build quality. 5

[Empty] I have this pouch for a standard acrylic slate instead of a time code slate. It works well for either type. Cinebags always puts out high-quality stuff even for this simple slate pouch. Construction is great and materials hold up well. 5

[Empty] I work as an on-set props assistant and I originally bought this bottle holder to hold a bottled water or a coffee travel mug while on set between takes. It's padded and waterproof. Eventually I discovered that it's a great dump bag for quickly propping and de-propping cast, also super handy for holding small, delicate props in between takes and it keeps my hands free. I'm sure as I use it more, I'll find more uses for it. 5

[Belt Loop] A 500ml plastic bottle or a bottle of that size will fit. Since there is a hole in the bottom, water does not collect inside. The back has a structure that can be removed with a belt loop or one-touch. 5
